DESIGN WORK
MODEL
The Melbert Heights, a mid-rise multigenera tional condiminium complex located on the Melbert and Rathburn intersection is a one of a kind building that fuses exceptional interior design with the property’s architectural DNA to create a big, bold and beautiful structure that captivates the eye and gives residents a range of perspectives that engages the imagination.
The incorporation of an indoor/ outdoor design with numer ous hangout areas around the building help with communica tion while still retaining aspects of an apartment complex that draws people to renting the place. The residents are ex pected to see netural colour schemes such as off whites, squash oranges and lincolin greens. the design also includes liveliness from plants that will be scattered among the complex including green roofs that are designed efficiently to reduce energy use and help residents feel closer to nature.
Atrium Main Entrance
The building houses a large open concept atrium and a main entrance area that feature large sections of glass and provide residents vertical access. The two feature entranc es accomodate numerous amenity spaces for occupants like a fitness room and many more. The neutral tones used for fixtures, furnishings and materials create an ambiance that embraces the lighting of early morning and late afternoon. this composition aims to emanate a comfortable yet dynamic feeling of modernism through a delicate marriage of light and line.
Cross Section
Whilst the apartment decor scheme is primarily a clean and crisp white backdrop, colour ful accents of orange, blue and green create a ripple in the calm setting. The units feature a styl ish living/dining room combo, a large dining kitchen with a break fast table and an island bar. The units range from a single bed bachelor apartment to three lux urious modern bedrooms units.
One of the residential units is designed so that two generations, old and young, can live peacefully together. The goal of this design was to encourage as much interaction as possible be tween two generations.
Floor
Kichen Design
In the interior spaces such as kitchen sustanable material including wood and recyclable glass tiles for wall are used in this project. Also using greenary and plants helps to im proove people mood and air quality.
CAR
The design of this project was inspired by the front grill of the 2021 BMW M3. For this design Project we came to an agreement that we should use BMW. BMW is one of the biggest German car manufactures. They are also the very few manufactures that have fulling electric sedans, SUVs, and sport cars. They also have various amount vehicles that use gasoline. In our Dealership we wanted to have a top view of the show rooms, so we added a mezzanine.

Solar Panles and Wind Tourbine are used in this project as a sustain able features using renewable energies in order to produce requred electricity for this car dealership and Electric Vehicle Charging Sta tion. The panels and tuurbines are attached on top of the roof for Electric Vehicle Charging Station and on the roof of service area.

Materials
Exterior
For our two-story BMW Dealership, for the exte rior walls we chose to use Glazed Curtain walls for the front of our dealership. The Curtain walls are floor to ceiling to get the most natural light ing to show off the cars and Curtain walling has a beautiful aesthetic finish to it. Curtain walling is also rated highly for sustainability.
For the other exterior wall material, we chose to use reinforced Poured Concrete. Concrete is popular for most dealerships because it is high ly sustainable, durable, and long lasting with thermal insulation also quick when installing.
For the exterior fast lane, we used Metal tiles and for the other service area we chose to us metal siding. Metal tiles will not chip, scratch, stain, or break which makes it an amazing du rable material. Metal siding is also extreme ly durable, and it also resists cracking in bad weather.
Flooring
For the interior flooring for our Dealership, we chose to use Porcelain floor tiles. Porcelain Floor tiles is used by most dealerships for example Ford located in Windsor the biggest dealership in Canada. Porcelain is sustainable, very tough and it is very easy to keep clean.
Old Shoreline Meditation & Yoga Center is Lo cated at Bathurst Street and Davenport Road, Toronto, is a sustainable facility wich designed in a way to respond its needs as much as possible.
The building is formed of two cube which is have intersected from the two corners. an in the main building which designed for the main space for studio there is 7 window which each is as a symbol
Sustainable Features
Solar Hot Water Hating
This system by using renewable energy can provide almost 60% of the hot water for a small building. It means SDHW system with us ing 60% less energy result in not only savng money but also helps to reduce carbon footprint.
Solar PV Systems
A Photovotaic System generate elctricity through a process using the sunlight. This systems works by linking nuber of panels together because each panel produce small enegy. To use the electricity provided by a solar PV system there need an inverter to convert the current from DC to AC.
Rain Water Harvesting System
This system is used to reduce the amount of water usage. it col lects the rain water and stores it un a tank fo later use. By add ing a pump and a purification system it can be used as potable water.
Wind Turbine
Wind Turbines are used in two different scales which here a smallscale is suggested. It’s another solution to generatee electricity and help to reduce use of fossil fuels, saving money as well as redusing pollution .
WaterSeer Device
This device provide water catching the moisture from the air throght the process of condensation. It has a tank undergroung so the device use this tempreture difference between grade lev el and underground.
Hempcrete
Hempcrete is chosen for exterior materioal as it is made of bio fiber and mineral binder and it works as a good insulation. It also called “bonded cellulose insulation”. This material has a good texture and make a good combination with wood as the first ex terior material.
Wood Siding
Wood is the first choice for this project as it is one of the most sus tainable and eco-friendly material. Canada has a large amount of wood resources so it’s locally available. AAlso it’s a durable material which is an important factor in sustainability.

Low Flow Toilet
Low flow toilet is an answer to water conservation. This product from EAGO use significantly less amount of water than a standard option.
Recycled Glass Mosaic Tile
This mosaic tile is chosen for interionr material as it is recyled and and has one of the important factors of sustain ability.
Triple Glazed Window
This part of building has a significant role in energy eficiency. Triple glazed window effect on building envelope performance and as a result helps to save energy.
Floor Heating System
This system is one of the best alterna tives for energy eficiency. It heating up the floor by radient heat in a short time.
Site Plan
Project
for:

Third Floor
This facility is a container located in beautiful na ture which is designed in three sections to live, work, and play. There are a kitchen, a Livingroom, and a master bedroom. The glass room located on the right side of the budling provides a calm place with a beautiful view to work and read. And the Playroom at the left side with separate access exists in order to entertain and having fun.
The entry of the Playroom has distance from the main entrance due to providing tranquillity for people in the home relaxing or working. The front yard is an outdoor location that can be used to play, work in the fresh air, or have a barbecue.
This project is designed based on a modular cube. The First one is for the bedroom, which is shown at the bottom of the diagram. The sec ond one is twice the basic form, including a living room and kitchen. The third cube is made of glass located be tween the first and sec ond module as a work place. And the last one is added to this project for a play room for en tertainment.
