OUR STORY The African Children’s Choir tours to raise global awareness of the plight of the orphaned and abandoned and support the expansion of sponsorship and education programs for both Choir children and the thousands they represent back in the seven African countries where Music for Life operates.

Photos by Dirk Lenius (Habib) & Mac Brown (Raul)

Now in its 29th year, the African Children’s Choir has provided vital support for the education of 52,000 destitute children across Africa. They have also reached over 100,000 people through their relief and development programs. Each year, a new Choir is formed and the children from the previous year’s choir return to their homelands to attend school, where their care and education is completely funded by ACC through university or vocational school.

Habib Koité & Raul Midón
