NO WITNESS By Ted May Directed by Mary Pat Sieck A new play with music, this darkly poignant piece charts the uphill climb of local mobster Sam Giancana from the son of poor immigrant parents in Chicago’s “Little Sicily” to a billionaire entrepreneur and the ultimate successor of Al Capone. No Witness explores one man’s journey as he negotiates the power struggles and betrayals within the mob, the adoration and neglect of his family, and the unquenchable thirst for power that led to lucrative deals with the most powerful people of his time - and to his assassination in his Oak Park home. Written by Chicago playwright Ted May, Artistic Director Mary Pat Sieck takes the helm of this World Premiere.

TINTYPES A MUSICAL REVUE Conceived by Mary Kyte with Mel Marvin and Gary Pearle The growing pains of a nation are captured in this grand pageant of pre-World War 1 America. Like Ragtime, this nostalgic, but subversive, musical revue takes us back to turn-of-the-century America, when the innocent, slower-paced days of ice cream socials are giving way to a bustling world of automobiles, electricity and the telephone; where American optimism and ingenuity run high. It is also a time of growing social turmoil, as increased immigration begins to change the cultural and ethnic makeup of the nation. The score, featuring works by George M. Cohan, John Philip Sousa, Joseph E. Howard, Scott Joplin, and Victor Herbert, is a blend of the patriotic songs, romantic tunes, and ragtime popular during the era.
