Contract Manager Do you have strong technical understanding? And would you like to manage large contracts in one of the most groundbreaking and complex technology programmes in Denmark? Then join Banedanmark’s Signalling Programme in a key position that will challenge and further develop your skills within contract management, particularly as you will be managing contracts with value of over DKK 1 Billion. This is a unique opportunity to join the largest technology programme in Denmark, work in an international environment with some the best specialists and collaborate with top international suppliers. You will be part of the Commercial Management Office in the Signalling Programme, responsible for contract management and all legal issues related to the Programme. Contract management with focus on a collaborative approach to suppliers As Contract Manager you will be responsible for classic contract management activities. This involves keeping a continuous overview over critical milestones together with the Project Manager, assessing rights and obligations according to the contract as well as risk assessment of the contractual terms. Also, you direct and process changes in the project and accordingly ensure that the changes are implemented in compliance with Banedanmark’s legal interests. Another key responsibility is to monitor the supplier’s progress and performance in close collaboration with Finance. The collaboration with suppliers is pivotal to how we perform contract management in the Signalling Programme. We aim at being state-of-the art when it comes to the approach to supplier handling and collaboration. As such, a key element in this position is the collaboration with suppliers. We focus on keeping a valuable, positive and proactive collaboration. And thus, you will be in a continuous and close dialogue with supplier to ensure that issues are dealt with as early as possible. Solid technical acumen and experience with Danish contract law You could hold an engineering, a commercial, or law degree. Either way a solid technical understanding combined with experience with contract management is a prerequisite. You have probably worked with contract management in a project environment within transportation, IT/Telco, heavy industry or the energy sector. A strong commercial outlook is further pivotal, just as fluency in English is an essential prerequisite. Needless to say, your collaboration and negotiation skills are at a high level. Towards suppliers you need to ensure a fruitful collaboration, while being a sharp negotiator. And internally, you can act as a close sparring partner to the project. Further, you are able to keep a sound overview that allows you to act proactively while still having the eye for details to ensure high quality. Finally, you want to contribute to further developing processes regarding contract management in the Signalling Programme as well as in Railnet Denmark in general.
