Laboratory technician or bioanalyst for Center for Kræftforskning, Kræftens Bekæmpelse A position for a laboratory technician or bioanalyst is open in the Chromosome Biology Unit, a research laboratory of the Danish Cancer Society Research Center and Centre for Genotoxic Stress Research. The job We offer an exciting job in an international environment, with a strong record in generating new discoveries in the field of cancer biology. You will work under the supervision of Professor Jiri Lukas, and will directly participate in many interesting and highly cancer-relevant projects. Work tasks DNA techniques - plasmid cloning and purification, PCR, site-directed mutagenesis protein biochemistry - immunoblotting, purification of recombinant proteins mammalian cell culture laboratory management - ordering material, maintaining basic laboratory stocks and equipment, updating internal databases Qualifications An education as laboratory technician or bioanalyst Strong experience with recombinant DNA, cloning, PCR, site-directed mutagenesis, basic protein work and mammalian cell culture Fluent communication in English Work place The laboratories are located in a pleasant, smoke-free environment with recently renovated and modern interior equipped with state-of-the-art technology. The everyday working language in the laboratory is English. We offer a full time position: 37 hours a week with lunch break included.
