Oslo Innovation Center’s incubator invests in new and innovative ideas with international potential. Focus areas include ICT, biotech and energy, as well as other industries considered on a case by case basis. Close relations to the entrepreneur and active ownership best describes our level of involvement.
Money Being an incubatee, companies benefit from easy access to both public and private funding. We are experts in attracting public funding, and most of our incubatees succeed in rising such money. Through our seed-fund (Springfondet) and network of business angels, promising incubatees often succeed in rising private funding in the range of 1 to 5 million kroner.

We put people first
Running a successful start-up company is a tough game that puts pressure on the entrepreneur. The incubator emphasises the importance of using best-practise tools, and we include our extensive pool of resources to complement the entrepreneur and build a winning team. The incubator believes supportive training of the entrepreneur and matching incubatees with people and companies from our network is a vital part of our contribution. At Oslo Innovation Center, we believe the entrepreneur is more important than the idea.
Being an Incubatee, you should expect a strong focus on sales. We strongly encourage getting into contact with potential customers at an early stage. Most companies must prove real market response long before their product or service is ready for launch. We help our companies establish contact with national and international customers. Building a sales organization and distribution network often becomes a critical success factor.
