Automatic freshmen scholarships are based on ACT/SAT scores and cumulative GPA. Yes, we superscore! Simply send us your scores and your high school transcripts.
All first-time, full-time, on-campus freshmen scholarships are renewable for three additional years with a 3.3 cumulative FHSU GPA and successful completion of at least 12 credit hours per semester while continuously attending FHSU on campus.
FHSU will accept improved ACT/SAT scores and transcripts until June 30th.

Students who meet eligibility criteria can apply for an annual renewable scholarship ranging from $2,000-$4,000.
First-generation students from Kansas can apply for one of five renewable awards covering 30 hours of tuition and fees for fall and spring courses, books, and room and board.
• Rudd Foundation Scholarship
A program for Kansas residents who qualify for a Pell Grant and have the grit and determination to achieve their long-term goals. This scholarship is a competitive, 4-year award designed to pay any remaining costs associated with tuition and fees, books and supplies, and room and board after accounting for all other grants, scholarships, and financial awards.
• TeamMates Scholarship
This four-year renewable scholarship is based on participation in the TeamMates program. Award amounts vary and verification of high school participation is required.
• Transfer Awards
New, incoming, on-campus transfer students who meet eligibility criteria may be awarded an automatic transfer scholarship. These awards range from $500-$2,250.
• General FHSU Scholarships
Students are eligible to apply for additional FHSU scholarships after admittance to the university and every year after as a Tiger.
