“As I transitioned from a community college to a four year university, Fort Hays State University was by my side every step of the way. From the moment I set foot on campus, each department was extremely helpful and welcoming. My academic advisors were full of knowledge to assist in selecting courses that fit my personal schedule. I am also incredibly proud to represent FHSU as a Student Ambassador tour guide, sharing my experience with prospective students. Overall, choosing to transfer to Fort Hays State University was one of the best decisions I have ever made in my life and I am forever grateful to the Tiger family for their overwhelming support.”

After visiting campus and speaking with the advisors in my area of study I knew I wanted to be a Tiger. Not only did I feel like a part of a family, but I felt like I was wanted.” JACE ARMSTRONG Digital Media Production

CREDIT FOR PRIOR LEARNING (CPL) Credit for Prior Learning (CPL) allows students to demonstrate they have the knowledge normally acquired in an FHSU course. This knowledge can come from a variety of sources: work, military training, volunteering, community service, certifications, national exams, workshops, non-credit courses, or independent study. Visit the CPL website for more information at FHSU.edu/cpl.

SEAMLESS SYSTEMWIDE TRANSFER The Kansas Board of Regents has approved a growing number of guaranteed transfer courses.
