KARATE
Karate offers physical fitness, self-confidence, and discipline. Students will learn karate and self-defense in a fun, safe atmosphere! All Karate classes are held in Studio 4. MUSIC PIANO/KEYBOARDS (AGES 7 & UP)
This program is taught on an electric keyboard supplied by the YMCA. Conference Room B. ARTS & HUMANITIES– FORT MEIGS DANCE DANCE RECITAL SESSION All dance classes will be in the recital. The session runs April 26-June 19. It’s an 8-week commitment with our “Candyland” Annual Dance Recital on Saturday, June 19. A costume fee $20 will be added at registration time. No refunds on costumes. Your instructor will handle the details of the costumes. Due to COVID guidelines our dance recital will not look like it has in the past but we are excited to see the kids showcase once again.

Girls and boys will be taught the basic skills of volleyball including bumping, setting, serving, and moving around a volleyball court. Coaches will teach game situation techniques in the form of fun team drills. This clinic is for beginners and those who want to work on their basic skills.
This class will teach your little one fun ways to move and will include games to accomplish this goal. We will combine skills from all different kinds of sports to work on over all wellness and movement.

PRE-TEAM
Gymnasts in Girls 5 and Girls 6 who are interested and ready for competitive gymnastics may try out for this training program. Pre-team gymnasts will focus heavily on USAG Level 3 competitive routines and skills. This class meets twice weekly and commitment to attendance is encouraged. Tryouts will be in June and December only, date and time will be posted. Realistic expectation would be for the gymnast to be ready for the annual June Gymcat tryouts.
