Are you providing child care in your home? Keep it legal by becoming an FCC provider!

If you are providing child care in your on-post housing, become Family Child Care certified ... it’s the right thing to do! By Army regulation, anyone caring for children in their government quarters on a regular basis must become FCC providers. Caregivers must be Army certified before caring for children; providing unauthorized child care in your government quarters can jeopardize your eligibility for housing. Child care providers accepted into the FCC program receive free training and CYS support. Learn more about becoming a Family Child Care provider by attending one of the weekly FCC orientation sessions, or by calling Parent Central at (785) 239-9885.

What is Family Child Care?

Family Child Care is a child care option offered in homes on post by authorized military family members working as independent contractors. FCC has unique qualities that make it the preferred choice for many families, including flexible hours and comfortable family settings.

Best benefits!

By becoming a Family Child Care provider, you will receive the following benefits: > Extensive child care training at no cost to you! > Free access to loan of equipment and materials > USDA food program reimbursements > Financial incentives > A portable career that offers continual opportunities for professional growth > A built-in support network of child care professionals
