Instructions Read the story to the children and ask them questions along the way about the wildlife they see in the pictures and the relationship between Momma bear and Baby bear.

Sing attached songs Imagination and movement game. Children walking through the jungle, going on a safari. Then they STOP, and see what they can see. “Oh my, I see an Elephant. Everybody move like an elephant. Deer, butterfly, bear, crab, tiger, frog. Post the ladybugs around the room. Place numbered slips of paper 1-10 in a bag, let each child take a turn drawing a number and the counting the ladybug spots in order to stand by the correct numbered ladybug. Let the children “color” their own animal to take home as a reminder of their Explorers Club experience on Wildlife day. Rub lightly with a pencil to reveal the scene, using crayons or markers to complete the book.
