The Amon Carter Museum seeks a qualified individual to join the Facilities team and perform duties related to cleaning assigned areas of the building.

RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE: Vacuum, mop and polish a variety of flooring surfaces; assist with museum events including moving furniture as needed; assist with minor tasks (i.e., open blocked sinks or lavatories, paint offices and hallways and change light bulbs).

QUALIFICATIONS: The successful candidate will possess the minimum of a high school diploma (college or trade school preferred); experience in building maintenance or janitorial work; training in cleaning fine furniture and special floor surfaces preferred; training and experience with cleaning chemicals, MSDS sheets and organic cleaning products required; ability to lift 50 lbs.; ability to walk or stand for periods of time and work in cramped or elevated areas of the building; ability to take accurate measurements and follow written directions; comprehension of safety materials required to perform necessary duties. Available for overtime and weekend work as scheduled; professional presence; diplomatic, comfortable in customer service environment; computer proficiency in MS Office desirable.
