Three Choirs Vineyard has 40 acres of land to admire with the picturesque vines situated right in front of the venue. Amid the vines sits the Old Winery barn and Courtyard, beautifully renovated to hold the wedding breakfasts and evening receptions. With original wooden beams, chandeliers made of vintage crystal cut wine glasses and 10ft oak doors, this room holds the characteristics of the old Winery it once was. The courtyard is also packed full of charm that has everyone enjoying the breath-taking views of the vines.

Exquisite Catering are the exclusive caterers for Three Choirs Vineyard, providing high quality and delicious dishes for every wedding. They also believe as do the Vineyard, that every wedding is unique and therefore should be tailored for each couple. They work closely with the Vineyard to make sure every wedding day goes seamlessly. The chefs have also been providing fabulous food for The Old Mill Restaurant in Botley, a little village close to the Vineyard, for the last few years. You can view their excellent 5* reviews on Trip Advisor where they are voted the top restaurant in Botley and the 14th restaurant in Southampton.

General Manager, Samantha Davies has been with Three Choirs Vineyards for over 7 years and has helped develop the once working vineyard into a beautiful, full exclusive wedding venue. Additional to the Gazebo, the beautiful inside ceremony space The Vine Room was created in 2018. The light and airy room has large windows that look out onto the vines, wooden beams and huge halo lights that hang from the ceiling creating an intimate ceremony location. Three Choirs Vineyards are proud to have 2 fully licensed ceremony locations onsite giving couples the option to say their I Do’s inside or out. In 2019 the house that sits close to the Old Winery barn was transformed into the on-site accommodation. Holding a large honeymoon suite, preparation area and 4 guest bedrooms, giving all couples the opportunity to extend their stay at the venue. 2020 was a hard year for all of the wedding industry but thankfully they have been busier than ever since opening back up in mid 2021 when restrictions were lifted and weddings could slowly begin again. And to start the year 2022 off with a bang, Three Choirs Vineyards have been voted one of the top wedding venues in Hampshire by wedding directory site, Hitched.

The venue will be open to all engaged couples on Sunday 20th February 2022 between 11am-3pm to meet some of their most recommended wedding suppliers and have a look around the grounds. The wedding team will be on hand to tell you all about the wonderful weddings that take place there and Exquisite Catering will also be there to talk all things food! It is free entry so bring along parents, bridesmaids and groomsmen to get a feel of the vineyard and start your exciting journey into planning your wedding day.

We are pleased we have survived all the various difficulties thrown at us by Covid including lockdowns and now look forward to a bright future in 2022. We are open every day except Sunday from 10 – 5. Do come in and be served by either Davina or Louise. We have an exciting range of general clothing by Frank Lyman (sizes 8 - 20), a leading Canadian manufacturer, which is second to none. We also have exquisite jeans through to beautiful short evening wear. The Frank Lyman Collection is inspired by the daring, confident and unforgettable woman. Without claiming to be perfect, she embraces herself, adopts her own style and wears it with confidence. She is not defined by age, rather by her charisma. Her fashion embraces her curves and her pace of life. Her clothes are at the same time comfortable, fit and practical, but just as fanciful, because everything is played in the details. We are fully stocked as the latest items have recently been added ideal for the coming Spring and Summer. Davina’s is also the place to come if you are seeking a special mother of the bride/groom outfit. We have an excellent range of Condici outfits which cannot be bettered for quality or style. We have predominantly shift dresses and “A” line dresses. Most come with a matching jacket which gives the finishing touches to the whole outfit. We also have matching hats, hatinators and fascinators together with shoes and clutch bags. It really is a “one stop shop” so you can leave us with everything ready for that special wedding without having to trail round different shops. We are located in the centre of Warsash about one hundred yards from the Clocktower, next to the Coop. There is a car park opposite with free parking for up to 4 hours; so do come and try things on. We would love to see you either on your own or with your partner. Make it an enjoyable retail therapy experience to cast away the blues of the past 2 years. Meon Valley Lions News

A huge thank you from Santa and his Elves Christmas time can be a miserable for some many people and its only with the support of local people that we were able to pass on the kindness and support those vulnerable and in need at this time of year.

Despite only spending half the time ‘on the road’ helping Santa and his Elves raised a grand total of £4,213.37. Everyone gave a warm welcome and generously donated, not only at our door-to-door collections but at our static collections, outside local retail outlets. We’d like to say a huge thank you to everyone who donated.

Lions - Always by your side Thanks to the generous support of local people throughout December, in addition to our Christmas Hampers and Chocolate donations via the Foodbank we were able, amongst other things, to provide a family in Wickham with new beds; they were absolutely thrilled. We also helped a Gentleman in Knowle in need of a bed and mattress. Thank you to the local person who kindly donated and delivered these for us. Santa and Fareham Rotary helped children smile!

Looking at the festive period, it’s been a Santaful Christmas for the Rotary Club of Fareham. You never quite knew where Santa was going to appear but Father Christmas liked attending local festive parties. Among those he visited were for the local Refuges for Fareham and Gosport. The big man in the red suit of course made an appearance to the delight of the children!

Rotarians Mike Hurley and Bob Mussellwhite were at these seasonal events to make the Christmas of each child extra special. Santa was accompanied by the very helpful Fareham Elf handing out presents to each of the children.

As President of the Rotary Club of Fareham, Norman Chapman, says “It’s so good that we were able to help make Christmas extra special for these families. Happy memories in childhood are made this way and our Club feels privileged to have been part of this positive experience.”

Nearer to Christmas, along with the Mayor of Fareham Councillor and Rotarian Mrs Pamela Bryant, Santa and the Fareham Elf made an appearance at the Friday Night Charity for adults with mild and moderate learning disabilities. They meet at the Scout Hall in Highlands Road and there were sacks full of pressies for that special occasion.

In addition you may have seen members of the Rotary Club of Fareham collecting at Sainsburys Broadcut in the town in the run up to Christmas. £1050.00 was raised for our Rotary charities and we are grateful to Sainsburys for their support once more.
