A fallen leaf is nothing more than a summer's wave goodbye
Feeling more than a little cheated of your summer? Whereas some in the UK have been basking in beautiful sunlight many of us are already reaching for our woolly jumpers. Even the local pubs have been known to stick a few defeated logs on the fire in an attempt to warm up the patrons with more than just the spirits. Yes, as we welcome yet another new month, many of us are feeling this peculiar transitional moment between the seasons.
As many families are sending the kids back to school and yet another autumn term rolls around, for adults too, this time of year feels like the harbinger of change. Perhaps some are starting new jobs or watching as their little ones progress into the next stage of their education or early work life.
Many of us still feel that back-to-school atmosphere at this time of the year, even if the days of new shoes and slightly too big school jumpers complete with a raid on the local stationery shop are long behind us.
For some of us, the summer has still been busy even if the weather has been more than a little disappointing. From tripping around from festival to festival, planning long-awaited holidays, attending weddings and trying to be spontaneous, it can be exhausting and lead to burn out.
Many of us though have our thoughts turned to the impending wintry weather and the nights slowly beginning to draw in. Instead of this beautiful time of year being a moment before the doldrums set in, actually this month can be all about preparing for a successful and enjoyable quarter ahead.
Perhaps instead of lamenting the months gone we should look forward to the new beginnings. In centuries gone by this was the beginning of a time of year when the labours of the previous months were beginning to be enjoyed, latter crops were beginning to flourish, apples were beginning to fall from the trees and the season of jamming and pickling was beginning to be enjoyed.
In the 21st century, our productivity is not always as dependent on the weather. Many of us still work 9-5 come rain or shine. School uniforms still need washing, shopping trips and nights out with our friends have little dependency on long, bright days or shorter, darker ones other, perhaps, than which shoes or boots we should wear.
How do you fancy a nostalgic autumn ahead? You know the ones, when you may have returned to school after the seemingly never-ending freedom of the school summer holidays and the air just feels a little different. Summer shoes and attire mismatch with early apple crumbles and winter warmers. The mornings are beginning to be a little crisper and thoughts of the long and dark nights lie ahead. It can be a cosy feeling.
For many people this time of year provides a nice opportunity for a reset. Never mind what has gone in the previous months and whether you managed to achieve all your summer goals, what is coming up on your horizon? Perhaps you’d like to plan a cheeky last-minute holiday or maybe you are keen to push towards your health and fitness goals.
Instead, applying the principle of enjoying a reset day but stretched across several weeks can be a rewarding and nourishing experience that helps us to live in the moment instead of pining for a time and season and yes, sometimes, even an atmosphere, that might feel out of reach.
How about prioritising some well-placed wellness activities or maybe you would just like to enjoy the season ahead, complete with country walks in some of Hampshire’s most beautiful natural spots. This time of year doesn’t have to signal a goodbye to summer and its fun. Why not set yourself a local photography challenge and take the opportunity to go outside, get some extra steps in and collate a beautiful album of a Hampshire autumn? With the stunning national parks at our fingertips - and toetips - Hampshire provides boundless opportunities to enjoy the spellbinding nature around us.
Have you taken a tastebud tour of some of the county’s best ciders or sourced local ingredients to make a meal from scratch? As well as supporting local businesses, season-appropriate activities help us to live in the present, especially when that involves what we eat and drink. Food and drink is a mood-setter and that can be used for considerable good.
Why not visit one of the many local gardens to enjoy a little inspiration for the autumn plants to put into your own flower beds and outdoor spaces? Chances are, if local gardens are able to grow a particular variety, it’s possible to replicate similar conditions in your own gardens.
However you decide to enjoy the next few weeks, I hope that you have the opportunity to create some lovely memories and enjoy some rewarding activities. Until next month!

Bespoke Kitchens & Furniture
One of the UK's top reviewed kitchen companies on Houzz
Happy Kitchens have a unique approach when it comes to kitchens and custom spaces in the home. We use excellent quality materials which are fitted by exshipwright joiners, who used to fit the woodwork on Super Yachts. That in itself is unique in our industry but then add in the fact that we are bespoke, but don’t charge the inflated prices that your highend high street showrooms do, gives us the recipe for your perfect home solution. This is why we are one of the highest rated home improvement companies on HOUZZ, beating all the top names you might recognise when walking down your high street.
We have never had less than a 5 star review and have won the HOUZZ best
of service award every year since it has been running. The staff at HOUZZ reference us to other companies as to how customer service should be done. Many of our customers have used us 2 or 3 times due to moving house or tackling other projects in their existing houses. We do not have a template for design and take a fresh approach with every customer. It is important to take all the best ideas a customer has, then bring in the experience we have to offer, and often our ideas will be completely different to any other companies as we are innovative and bespoke. We often hear that customers have had designs and quotes that all look the same, are boring and unexciting, yet expensive. This is because most high street ‘kitchen designers’ are
just salespeople with no idea on how a kitchen works.
So whether you need an amazing kitchen, utility, bedroom, coffee bar with custom pod storage, office, media wall or living room storage we can help. The design visits are free of charge, and we can quote on the same day. Also Ben loves design, so often at no extra charge, he will help you choose paint colours, light fittings, bar stools, artwork and can even recommend great pots and pans.

For Sale – Buriton
A stylish, 3 bedroom attached cottage situated in The South Downs National Park, in the picturesque village of Buriton which is within easy access of Petersfield and its excellent commuter links.
This attractive home was constructed using a blend of traditional methods sympathetic with the aesthetics of the village. Whilst presenting some of the charm you would expect from a traditional home, the property has been designed very much for modern, low maintenance living making it the ideal property for busy professionals, second homers or downsizers.
The accommodation is well presented throughout with contemporary styling. It includes on the ground floor an integrated garage, which could be converted to provide additional living space if required (STPP), and the elegant master bedroom with en suite shower room.
The first floor provides the ideal entertainment space with the
Home-Start Butser
Home-Start Butser, a local family support charity, was set up 25 years ago and is celebrating a quarter of a century supporting thousands of families with young children in Petersfield and the surrounding areas. Volunteers with parenting experience are recruited and trained, then matched with families, with at least one child under 5, going through challenging times. They visit a family weekly for 2-3 hours, supporting them in any way that is needed to help them become the best parents they can. From these relationships extraordinary transformation occurs. In such challenging times, with statutory resources stretched and the ongoing cost of living crisis, Home-Start Butser and the wonderful volunteers are always there, never wavering in their support. Thousands and thousands of hours have been given by volunteers over the 25 years. The impact is considerable, many describing their volunteers as:
‘Amazingly kind and caring’
‘I honestly don't know whether I would have survived without my volunteer.‘
‘She is our God send, we love her!’
‘You have helped my family so much’
‘I love, love love her, I don’t want her to leave until they are at uni’
‘The best practical and emotional support I ever had, apart from my mum’
When Home-Start Butser was established 25 years ago the first training course had seven volunteers, today they have a bank of
dining room open to the living room with fireplace and doors to the private balcony/terrace. There is a well fitted kitchen with range cooker and staircase to the second floor where there are two further double bedrooms and a bathroom. Aside from the balcony on the first floor, the property benefits from an additional terrace to the front aspect, with private parking and garage.
Buriton is situated within The South Downs National Park with footpaths from the village connecting to magnificent countryside surrounding the South Downs Way making it ideal for those looking for the country lifestyle.
There is easy access to Petersfield and the A3 to London and the south coast with its enviable coastline and marinas. The village itself has a thriving community with primary school, 2 public houses, a village hall and church whilst Petersfield (3.5 miles) and Portsmouth (approx 16 miles) benefit from extensive amenities and train services to London.

80 volunteers but are always looking for more. Volunteers find the experience enriching, empowering and lifechanging.
‘It’s not one sided. Being a volunteer gives me immense pleasure. I like helping where I can and as I’m fortunate to have some time to give, I can’t think of a better way of spending it.’
Many more families locally need our help, and Home-Start is hosting a wonderful 25th Gala evening on 14 October at the prestigious venue, Bedales, to help us to raise the funds needed to increase our unique services.
The evening includes a champagne reception, a delicious threecourse meal with wine, an auction hosted by radio presenter Steve Hyland and dancing to live band ‘Black Cherry Jam’

Rachel Hudson
Illustrating The Natural World: one small square at a time…
Hampshire illustrator, Rachel Hudson, creates artwork that reconnects people with the natural world, through information, greetings cards, editorial, publishing and site-specific projects. Lively, yet authentic, her artwork evokes the spirit of a place and captures a fleeting encounter with nature.
From Suffolk to The Shetlands
This year, it is Rachel’s greetings cards that are making an impact, following her debut at Progressive Greetings Live at the Business Design Centre in London, (the world’s only greetings card trade fair). Today, you can discover her illustrations in independent bookshops and gallery gift shops from Suffolk to The Shetlands, Hampshire to the Hebrides. Meanwhile, new Winter Birds Christmas Cards are available from the RSPB and eight of her best-selling illustrations have been licensed by the Welsh publisher, Silver Birch Cards. Further afield, from February 2024, a collection of 10 designs entitled, Vie Sauvage, will be sold in bookstores throughout France, published by Zazous Editions.
Valuing Nature
Inspired by daily walks in Hampshire and holidays along the British coast, Rachel’s designs showcase the seasons and celebrate the often overlooked. Her collections include Coastal & Seaward, Wayside & Woodland, Winterscapes and Oddities & Rarities. Rooted in conservation knowledge and a life-long love of nature, Rachel’s art cards for nature lovers aim to help people to feel good and value nature. On the reverse of each card, you can find information about the species featured on the front of each card.
Environmental stewardship lies at the heart of Rachel’s business which is powered by green energy and uses materials that are responsibly sourced. All cards are blank inside, printed in the UK using FSC certified board, matched with eco- kraft envelope, supplied ‘naked’, without plastic or even biodegradable packets (which can also take years to decompose).
Why greetings cards?
Greetings cards are an affordable and environmentally-friendly way to make an emotional connection with a friend or family member. It is a way to show someone that you are thinking about them and can be thought-provoking too, perhaps reminding the recipient of a time and place that they have enjoyed. As a Publisher member of the Greetings Card Association, from 18-24 September, Rachel will be taking part in ‘Thinking of You Week’. All cards purchased and sent by Royal Mail will carry a special postmark with the message: Send a Card Deliver a Smile. A world-wide initiative, the aim is to ‘create a wave of love, caring and happiness’.
If you’d like to purchase Rachel’s cards, they are available to buy at www.rachelhudsonillustration.com You can find her in person at The Floral Fringe Fair in Loxwood Meadows, West Sussex from 2-3 September. For a 10% discount on Rachel’s Winter Birds Christmas Card Packs until 5 September, visit the RSPB’s online shop.

Relocation: the risks and pitfalls for employers
Due to changes in ways of working since the pandemic or in response to the economic slowdown, some employers are downsizing their premises and asking employees to relocate to new premises or hubs. Linda Wilson, Employment Partner at MacDonald Oates takes a look at the key contractual, redundancy and discrimination issues.
Contractual mobility clause
The employees’ contracts of employment may contain a mobility clause that allows the employer to change the place of work. The wording first needs to be carefully checked to understand the scope of the right.
Secondly, the employer’s right to insist on relocation may be curbed by the implied term of trust and confidence, which stops the employer acting in a way that seriously damages or could seriously damage the relationship between the employer and employee, without having a good reason.
A breach could allow the employee to resign and claim constructive dismissal if they have two years’ service.
Thirdly, an employer needs to enforce this clause in a reasonable way. Usually, that involves discussion with the individual and giving plenty of notice. Finally, insisting on the employee relocating under a mobility clause must be done in good faith and not done in an ‘arbitrary, capricious or irrational’ way. Provided there is a business reason for moving the location this hurdle should be cleared.
Mobility clause and employee refuses
If the employee resists the move, even though the contract allows the employer to require the employee to relocate, the employer may have no option but to dismiss the employee for failure to obey a lawful instruction. If the instruction was reasonable and not in breach of contract, the dismissal for misconduct could be fair and the employee would not be entitled to a redundancy payment.
No mobility clause and workplace still operating
Where the existing workplace is not being closed but some employees are required to relocate, without a mobility clause the employer cannot insist on the employee relocating. The employer needs the employee’s agreement to the change through a consultation process. We can help you ensure that this consultation exercise covers all the necessary elements, including ways of mitigating the impact on the employee.
No mobility clause and close of workplace
If the trigger for the relocation is that the business will stop operating from the current premises, this is likely to fall within the statutory definition of a redundancy. There may be some uncertainty around the employee’s place of work, for instance if they work at two bases. We can discuss this with you.
Discrimination issues
The consultation exercise should address any individual circumstances that could create a discrimination risk. This could involve reasonable adjustments for a disabled employee or the impact of the move on childcare arrangements for a female employee. Employers need to be alert to these issues.
How we can help
A relocation programme can be disruptive and may create the risk of employment tribunal claims and loss of staff. We can help you ensure that it is well planned, and the risks are mitigated as far as possible, to minimise the negative impact on your business.

A cheap alternative to extend your wireless signal around your house is available from TP Link. This company has been manufacturing similar networking products for many years. This model, the TP-Link AC1750, costs approximately £60 and is great for extending your wi-fi to the garden, or rooms in your house that are a long way from your main router. If you need any help installing and setting it up, please let me know.
I have always recommended that when purchasing a new computer, Mac, or Windows, that John Lewis should be at the top of your list. They have a great choice of laptops, desktops, tablets, and mobile phones. For Apple products they are the same price as Apple direct and in some cases cheaper. I set up a lot of computers for my customers that have been purchased from John Lewis and the big advantage is the extra 12 months warranty that they include in the sale price. The other advantage is their exchange policy if you are not happy or if the product has any problems. I have had first hand experience of this with some of my customers recently and their service is second to none.
Before you ditch your old computers, tablets and mobile phones please consider passing them on to a charity. I have been doing this for some time now and work with someone locally who is able to donate equipment for use by refugees. I can help to clean older devices and remove all personal data. If you are interested, please contact me on the number below.

Welcome to Thrive
Based in the beautiful South Downs Market Town of Petersfield, Thrive is a community minded, safe and friendly healing space. We offer a variety of wellbeing modalities ranging from yoga classes, mindfulness, sound healing, reflexology, pain therapy through frequency and massage, plus delicious organic drinks such as herbal teas, fresh smoothies and juices that are in alignment with the seasonal nature which surrounds us.
Why are we different?
We aim to align with the encompassing flow of nature and the natural rhythm of our Earth, Moon and Sun. To achieve this, we aim to base all our modalities on the natural geometric pattern of spacetime. This incorporates the understanding of the role that the arts and creativity, gratitude, natural sunlight, epigenetics, grounding, structured water (H3O2), magnetism and temperature all play in the alignment of our inner and outer environments, and therefore our relationship to self and other. Through our own personal journeys, we have realised that joy, strength, and confidence are our basic natural right, and that these are the foundations for disease reversal, longevity and optimal health. Unfortunately, physical injury, trauma, mental & physical overstimulation, poor diet and environmental pollution can be a hindrance to reaching that stage of joyful equanimity. We are passionate about what we do and are here to listen to you, to help you overcome any challenges, and to assist you in attaining the vitality which you deserve.
Pop in for a chat and a listening ear, join us for a class, some pain relief treatment, or simply let nature guide you to the ultimate smoothiewhatever it is, we will always be happy to see you!
Yoga & Classes
At Thrive, our classes are accessible to everyone, beginners as well as more advanced practitioners. Underlying all of it is bringing mindfulness and presence to the work – the all-important Zen part which makes yoga truly yoga and not just gymnastics. Yoga is a
discipline that can be practiced by everyone regardless of age, shape, flexibility, beliefs, health conditions or injuries. There are lots of variations and modifications that can be tailored to an individual’s needs. It is important to practice at your own pace and ability.
Massage, Healing & Pain Therapy
At Thrive Wellbeing, we offer a range of massages and specialise in pain therapy. Everyone is unique so is your body and area of discomfort. Listening to you and offering a tailored treatment for your needs is essential and something we take great pride in.
Alignment
We put a lot of energy and details to ensure that everything we do will affect your health and energy in a positive way. For example, our juices and teas are served in sacred geometry glasses and mugs which structures, empowers and revitalises water with life force-energy.
Juices, Smoothies & Herbal Teas
Drop in for smoothies after a class, treat yourself to organic fresh juices and herbal teas - takeaway or drink-in. We mindfully select organic, seasonal and local produce whenever possible.

Fascinating play exploring the life of inspirational American president
Abraham Lincoln comes to Petersfield
£144
£289
Professional theatre company LynchPin brings their engrossing production of Old Abe by Hugh Steadman Williams to Petersfield Museum and Art Gallery on 13 September. ‘Old Abe’ paints a fascinating portrait of Abraham Lincoln arguably the greatest US President and champion of liberty.
In documentary style, a journalist leads Lincoln to recount his story, from childhood poverty, his self education to become a lawyer and politician, through his election as President to leading the Union through the turmoil of the Civil War and abolition of slavery.
Your local independant fashion retailer at Davina's
With recent concerns over the rising cost of fuel, energy and food, many have questioned their expenditure on clothing, as somewhere economies can be made. Also, the continued effects of Covid with the reduction in social interaction, growth of home working and an 'anything goes' attitude towards dressing have all had a negative influence on shoppers' habits.
This has impacted adversely on independant retail shops, like ours, resulting in closures.
We are fighting back against this trend by encouraging ladies to buy quality clothes again, with the benefit of better cut, better material and greater durability, in our *50% off everything sale during September (including mother of the bride).
Why not come along and see what wonderful bargains we have to offer, especially if you have a wedding in the foreseeable future. We look forward to serving you and reintroducing you to the benefits of buying quality again.

The fictional journalist who meets Lincoln is modelled on Emily Briggs, the first female press correspondent to report directly from The White House. Performed by two actors as a multi media staged reading, the play movingly quotes from Lincoln’s letters, witty anecdotes and his extraordinary and inspiring speeches which helped him reach, and heal, a fractured nation.

Lincoln’s influence reaches into the 21st century. President Obama was deeply influenced by him: so much so that he swore the Oath of Office on the same Bible as used by Lincoln at his in auguration. Renowned for his eloquence and clarity of thought, Lincoln’s words have resonance in today’s uncertain times. Lincoln is played by Andrew Hodson and the journalist by Edie Campbell in a production directed by Elisabeth Tooms.

Future Energy Forum
After last winter’s shock energy price rises we will all be keeping our fingers crossed for greater stability and affordability this winter. However, with political, financial and environmental uncertainty rapidly becoming the norm across the globe, a return to the old ‘status quo’ is highly unlikely. We have unfortunately entered a brave new world, where only those bold enough to take the tough decisions will find themselves best placed to ride out the uncertainty. The question is, are our decision-makers brave enough to take these vital decisions on our behalf?
The transition to a net-zero economy is the economic opportunity of the 21st century. Two sectors most able to make a significant contribution to this are energy and housing. A fact recognised by all our political parties. However, come the next election will any of their manifestos go far enough…. and, as a voter, do we understand the issues sufficiently well to properly scrutinise their policies, voice our opinions or hold them to account?
Energise South Downs’ Future Energy Forum, at Bedales School, Petersfield, on Friday 6 October, will not only give you the opportunity to learn more about these important issues, but hopefully also spark wider conversations and inform the decision you ultimately take about your home and energy at the ballot box.
The evening will be chaired by John Palmer, Deputy Director, Energy Performance of Buildings, Department of Levelling Up Housing and Communities. He will oversee a panel of expert speakers across the renewable energy, sustainable finance and housing sectors, including Steve Waygood, Chief Responsible Investment Officer, Aviva Investors; Ollie Pendered, Chief Executive, Community Energy South; Rupert Meadows, Campaigns & Engagement Officer, Power For People and Mark Gaterell, Prof Sustainable Construction, University of Portsmouth.
This is a free, non-party political event aimed at informing the community. It will only be through widening our understanding of the big issues affecting the well-being of the planet and ourselves that we will be able to face the future with confidence. To book your place please visit Bedales Events - https://www.bedales.org.uk/event/ energise-south-downs-future-energy-forum & for more information see https://esd.energy

Fried Potatoes with Bacon, Mushrooms & Onions
SERVES 4 - 6 PEOPLE
INGREDIENTS
• 750-800g baby potatoes (any waxy kind)
• Sea salt
• 200g bacon lardons
• Olive oil or avocado oil
• 1 large onion thinly sliced
• 300g of chestnut mushrooms or other mushrooms of choice - sliced
• 2 teaspoons chopped fresh rosemary (optional)
• Freshly ground black pepper
• Handful of parsley or dill - chopped
METHOD
Put the potatoes in a pot, cover with water and salt well. Bring to a boil and boil until just cooked, 10-15 minutes. Drain the potatoes, let cool, and slice thinly.
Meanwhile, heat a large cast iron pan (or another non-stick pan) over medium heat and add enough oil to coat the bottom. Add the onion, bacon and a pinch of salt, and saute for 7 minutes, until the onion is translucent. Add the mushrooms and rosemary, if using, stir once to coat in the oil, then let the mushrooms brown, undisturbed, for about 10-15 minutes. Once the mushrooms are browned and all the liquid they release evaporates, season them with more salt and black pepper, mix to coat. Remove the mushrooms and onions from the pan and set aside for now.
Wipe the pan if needed. Add more oil to generously coat the bottom of the pan and turn the heat up to medium-high. Add about a third of the potatoes to the pan and season them with salt. The potatoes should cover the pan in one layer and shouldn't be too crowded. Fry the potatoes for about 5 minutes, until the undersides are golden and crispy, then flip and fry the other side for another 5 minutes, or until golden.
Transfer the fried potatoes to a plate and continue frying the rest of the potatoes in batches. Add more oil between batches if necessary.
Once all the potatoes are done, return them to the pan along with the mushrooms and onions, mix carefully until warmed back through. Serve the potatoes and mushrooms right away, sprinkled with parsley or dill.

The Benefits of Professional Lawncare
Most people haven’t used a qualified lawncare specialist to look after the needs of their lawn. Let’s take a look at what’s involved, and how we can help achieve a lawn you can be proud of – all year round.
What do we do?
We are lawncare specialists – we don’t cut hedges, we don’t cut grass, we don’t even lay turf. We are focused on delivering the right input to existing lawns, to create a healthy lawn, that can be enjoyed all year. Our founder, Ian, has a background in agronomy. We are focused on soil science, as healthy soil grows a healthier crop. Our aim is to grow healthy, disease free, and drought-resistant grass. Our lawn technicians are trained and qualified in all aspects of domestic turf-care. Ian also sits on the committee of the UK Lawncare Association, which is about shared learning, best practice and ensuring higher levels of service in independent lawncare across the UK.
some intensive care along with treatments, then these renovations will usually be a one-off process to get your lawn back to good health, where it can then be sustained by its seasonal treatments.
Renovations typically include scarification to reduce moss, thatch, and dead grass, by power-raking this from the surface. If you then have bare areas, overseeding with more suitable grasses for your lawn environment, soil type and how you use your lawn. And topdressing if the lawn is particularly uneven or the soil is of poor quality.
Using our services
We start by measuring your lawn online. This way we can give you an indication of price, and provided you are comfortable with that, we would arrange a convenient time for your lawn survey. We don’t charge you to survey your lawn. During your survey we check the condition of the soil and measure the soil moisture levels and acidity. We check grass condition, looking for disease and any damaging lawn pests. We also offer any relevant advice on how you can achieve a lawn you can be proud of.
How our treatments plans work
What services do we provide?
Our services fall into two areas. On one side we have lawn treatments, on the other lawn renovations. If you have a lawn that is in relatively good condition, perhaps weedy, mossy, or not growing too well, then seasonal lawn treatments will give you a lawn to be proud of.
What are lawn treatments and are they safe?
Treatments typically care for nutrition, moss, and weed control. Drought stress, disease and grub damage. We also provide soil improvers and bio-boosters to improve soil microbial activity. We usually put treatments together into a seasonal plan, to meet the exact needs of your lawn, and most of our clients choose to pay for these monthly, to spread the cost over the year.
Everything that we use in your garden is safe for everything that uses your garden. Not just you, your family, and pets, but also wildlife, birds, bees, and butterflies. Our products are government approved and we are members of the BASIS Lawn Assured scheme, monitoring best-practice.
Are treatments enough to sustain my lawn?
Lawns benefit from annual aeration. This mechanical process relieves soil compaction, creating space for roots to grow. Promoting a healthy root mass gives more access to moisture and nutrition. Lawns that have never received professional care can often be deteriorated and benefit from lawn renovations services to kick-start their recovery. If your lawn is deteriorated, to the point where it needs
On our first visit we ideally like you to be at home to meet your lawn technician. That gives you the opportunity to discuss any concerns and ask any questions. For subsequent visits you don’t need to be at home provided we have access to your lawn. You receive a notification from us 5 days before we are due to visit, and a reminder the day before we come.
When your technician arrives at your home, he will check in with you to see if you have lawn concerns to discuss with him. He inspects your lawn for disease and evidence of grub damage, and fully investigates any issues before applying the appropriate seasonal treatments.
We send you an email after service, confirming what we have done. If your technician has any concerns or things to bring to your attention, it will be in that email – this might be something simple, like advice on mowing height or issues with grass stress. If he has any recommendation of services to benefit your lawn health, they will be in that email too.
Do you deserve a better lawn? If so, get in touch.
Ian Kenyon sits on the committee of the UK Lawn Care Association and owns Shrekfeet Professional Lawncare. He is always happy to offer friendly, professional advice and help: T: 01962 460146 www.shrekfeet.com
