GUIDE-LINE Advocacy Living Project- Edirnekapi The housing project serves as a crossing over the area between the walls of Edirnekapi and the kariye Museum. The separation of private and public spaces and their transformation into each other presents a variety of visual and physical permeability within the structure. The structure is divided into layers so that it sits on the slope of the land at ground level. With the help of these layers, the value and use of the public space given by the entrance level of the land is increasing. Private units are positioned to increase orientation on both sides so that the side of the building facing the walls and into the neighborhood can relate to the landscape. The use of the private space in the building was moved to the top floor, while the use of the semi-private spaces was decoded on the intermediate floor. Although the use of light is provided in some places with the help of the facade, at some points the relationship between the special area and the semi-special areas has been strengthened by the help of the light wells. The structure is a frame system consisting of steel columns and beams. The housing units provide light control with the help of sun protection panels.

This neighborhood, which is between the Chora Museum and the walls of Edirnekapi, has a tourist location, but is less affected by this situation. On top of that, users bring positive social and economic change to the neighborhood. writer
