I work in this space. This land interacts with two streets and also connects these two streets. One of the streets is facing a center while the other is next to the rampart. An ideal place for a community that lives and works collectively. Areas can also be created for other people.
We can see the cosmopolitan texture accumulated by centuries very well. Edirnekapi is still one of the centers of Istanbul. The main Metrobus line that runs through Istanbul and a city transportation line like the metro pass through here. Despite this access, we still realize that it isn't changing quickly.
In the peninsula, it lies to the west of the city walls dating from the Byzantine Period. In Istanbul, the oldest settlement, we can find different historical monuments. We all decided to move here for a number of reasons. We conducted field research around the Chora Museum, which is one of the symbols of this place.

Edirnekapi is the sixth of the seven hills on which Istanbul is built. It is also the highest point where you can see the city. Edirnekapi was one of the most important locations in the Byzantine and Ottoman periods. He has witnessed different nations. Therefore, it reflects the marks of different cultures and religions. We see that three distinct beliefs are together intensely in this neighborhood.
Site Analysis
A space that connects the two streets near the Chora Museum. A family and a group of 4 dancers are living in this place. It is also a place where people who live here and other people can interact. It is organized in a way that they can work collectively. There is a ramp in an alternative way that allows people to get involved in this space. This ramp makes these people a spectator as they pass by the dancers' studio. Afterward, it becomes a tool to reach plants grown by the hydroponic system. Finally, we can reach a place where the kitchen is shared by everyone.
