Many old neighborhoods of Istanbul face the danger of collapse under the name of urban transformation. One of the effects of urban transformation is the dispatch of local people living there. People send to places other than where they have lived for years. Kariye Mahallesi may also face this danger The aim of this project is to revitalize the Kariye region. The aim is to bring the region to life in terms of sustainability of buildings, earthquake resistance, self-awareness of the people, old professions that leave their places to the machines.
