There are 3 families living in CantilieverZone. This families invite the locals living in EdirnekapÄą to their homes and they try to raise awareness of the locals in various fields in the field of workshops and presentations. There are public areas on the lower floor of the building and go up with the tower where circulation is provided. Families living in the building can be together in the common kitchen and living room, apart from their
private areas. In this project, there are console partitions for seperating the private and public areas of the people living in the building and for the views of the area at different points. Consoles, which are attached to two towers where circulation is provided, are connected to the tower with a steel structure. Flooring pre cast concrete.Consoles are connected to the towers with steel I beam and there are 4 bracings in the transitions.
The overall structure of the buildig is steel. It consist of steel I beams and columns. The floors are brought by cranes and settle in the steel structure.Deep wooden panels are placed inside the steel frame on the facade.Insulation was placed on the next layer of wooden panel. Steel I beam and columns are rigidly connected. Beams and columns interwined with screws form a frame for the face and pre- cast concrete floor.
