Avetics is a local company in Singapore which provide aerial photography services to our clients. We use Unmanned Aerial Vehicles (UAVs) to take photographs from an elevated height at different angles. Images captured by our UAVs can provide a high resolution image of 20MP using the current technology we have.
Avetics can provide aerial photography for our clients in various industries. Using our hexacopter, a small remote-controlled helicopter with a camera attached, we can fly up to 150m in height to capture the aerial view. Photographs taken by our hexacopter will provide an astounding aerial bird’s eye view that is totally different from the photographs taken from the ground level or taken from the surrounding tall ships or cranes. Avetics provides a much cheaper alternative to helicopter aerial photogrpahy services yet producing aerial images that are of better quality. These images Avetics produce could be used by our clients to showcase the company’s portfolios and it could help our clients to secure future contracts both locally and overseas using our aerial photographs. The aerial photographs of the site area can also be used as a tool for planning and design purposes.

industrial ABOUT PHOTOS We have experience doing industrial shoot which includes yards and oil terminals. Some of these projects require us to put on personal protection equipment. We seek to understand the plant design and suggest the best angle to capture it. Photos are then stitched and edited to make sure they are ready for the media. Also, we are involved in the Jurong Island reclamation project which require us to fulfill the aerial photography condition under the contract won by the construction company

Avetics uses UAVs to generate high resolution maps of 5 GSD (Ground Sampling Distance) which is 10 times higher resolution as compared to the satellite images from Google Maps. These maps are: - Orthorectified - Geotagged - Tiled - In Geotiff format

KRANJI LOOP Size: 3km sq Time required: 3 hours ABOUT THE AERIAL MAP Avetics mapped out the area of 1.5km by 2 km of land for Singapore Land Authority (SLA) in the area of Kranji Loop. ABOUT THE TECHNOLOGY The plane will follow the pre-planned flight path on the software and fly within the targeted area at 150m. Photos are taken at every 4 secs to capture the land below from an top-down view and these photos are stitched to generate the map.

Bukit Brown Cemetery ABOUT MAP Avetics was tasked by the Bukit Brown Documentation team to map the entire cemetery area for achiving before it is developed. Avetics embedded the entire map on Google Maps and provide customized value-added services such as identifying the location of the tombs in the cemetery and hosted it online to allow the public to provide historical background of the burial sites.

ABOUT THE MAP The layout of the entire cemetery can be seen clearly from the map. The exact location of the all the tombs in Bukit Brown are identified. Historical background information as well as ground photographs of each tomb can be viewed online from the tags.
