“My photography is a story which tells a tale. All I have lived and seen has shaped my expression of creativity into what it is today.”
To turn the camera on one’s self is among one of the most difficult areas of photography. “Who Am I” are creative self portraits with an expressive edge.
“For everything that happens, there is a cause and for every cause, there follows a result. This is the cycle - it happens, it exists and then is no more.”
Images with a distinct emotional quality or character, reflecting a state of feeling, a prevailing emotional tone, or simply a general attitude.

FEATURED PHOTOGRAPHER
I was born in Bucharest, raised by normal parents (I think :)), and have lived there ever since. I’m an architect, so I was no stranger to art when I first began photography. My journey started on another site (usefilm.com), where I met some great people that supported and encouraged me. Most of them have come over to Fotoblur now, and we remain friends and sources of artistic inspiration and advice. I’ve always felt that I should express my own artistic vision. When I was younger, I rather thought I’d do it in writing. It turns out my talents lay not quite as much in the pen as they do in the creation of an image. My experimentation into mobile photography began a couple of years ago when I got my first phone with a VGA camera. What I first noticed was the possibilities of taking people’s pictures without them noticing. People seem to lose their natural spark whenever they spot a camera around which the mobile phone solved. My photos evolved into more complex images, which I eventually started to post-process. Right now, my work consists mainly of taking a picture to use as a basis for a message I want to convey. Then it is processed until it expresses all.
“All I have lived and seen has shaped my expression of creativity...”
My photography is a story which tells a tale. The music that I listen to and the poetry that I love are parts of what my photos become. My own photography has various themes, but mostly it expresses the way I see what surrounds me, stories hidden behind what may seem obvious and dull. It is also a way to do some shrink work on myself and turn those “demons” into something beautiful. Creativity is something you discover very early in life. The ways in which you express it though may be influenced by circumstances, education, talent, etc. So it does take a little time to discover the best way to express yourself. All I have lived and seen has shaped my expression of creativity into what it is today. I don’t see myself as a “regular” photographer but as someone who is expressing herself in a personal manner. I believe that if you strive for true expression of your vision, then you will create beauty.

Anuchit Sundarakiti was born in Saraburi, Thailand. An architect and designer by profession, he began taking photos for work while surveying sites, but that soon grew into a passion using his Pentax K1000 camera. His Buddhist philosophy centers around calming - both of mind and body and that has influenced Sundarakiti’s work immeasurably. “For everything that happens, there is a cause and for every cause, there follows a result. This is the cycle - it happens, it exists and then is no more.” Living in Bangkok, among the hustle and bustle of Thailand’s capital, Sundarakiti craved silence. And find it he did, even among the clamor of the big city. “It’s as if we are walking in a large city filled with people who don’t care about each other. And then there is only myself. It seems that everything goes by so quickly, but through it all, there is something that stands still, timeless. It is as if something floats silently along. I want people who look at my works to perceive the silence within the commotion. It is not violent, but beautiful and peaceful and I find it everywhere in this fussy Bangkok.”

stories and then treat the photos with various digital processes in order to pull in the feeling, the emotion and the story as much as possible both in color and movement.” On the topic of movement, Sundarakiti believes that to keep moving forward, one need to be open. To be open, one needs to have patience to see the things right in front of himself. But above all, he emphasizes believing in yourself. “The number one thing to remember is that you must be brave, true to you thoughts, until your thoughts and the method that accompanies them have crystallized. When you can not only accept both the positive and negative, but also cultivate these principles involuntarily, you are ready to continue forward on a new path.”
“For everything that happens, there is a cause and for every cause, there follows a result. This is the cycle it happens, it exists and then is no more.”
Four years ago, he switched to a digital camera, excited to see his photos in the digital space. It was this change that turned his passion in a technical direction where he began to learn more about both the equipment and the theories behind photography. He admits to a lot of trial and error, but says that in the end it helped him gain a better understanding about the properties of light and how it could be manipulated digitally. “Light creates shape, movement of time and a perception through transparent media that is distorted from reality. I want to convey its phenomena and capture it in a photograph. I photograph not just places but
Sundarakiti has set up a group called Thailand Creative Art Photography with some peers. His aim is to gain acceptance of this new brand of photography and art in Thailand and also to share the various works with the world. The idea stemmed from Fotoblur and it’s focus around a community. “It is such an honor to be featured by Fotoblur. This community has taught and encouraged me greatly and I am happy to share my work in return. I’ve found a lot of inspiration from my friends at Fotoblur, both professional and amateur.”
