Spacious Staterooms Our spacious and handsomely decorated staterooms feel like deluxe hotel rooms, with tasteful and thoughtful touches that have made AmaWaterways an award winning cruise line. Standard accommodation starts at 160 square feet while suites can be as large as 350 square feet. Many of our staterooms feature a French Balcony or Twin Balconies (a French Balcony plus a full step out Balcony). Take advantage of the perfect spot to have a cup of coffee, read or simply enjoy the view. On our European ships, the queen sized bed can be transformed into two twin beds, each with high thread count linens and a storage unit that slides underneath. There is a desk/vanity area with a large mirror, a cosy sitting area, a closet and alcove with additional shelves, and a small refrigerator (select ships). Every stateroom has a flat screen TV that can be used to access our complimentary Infotainment system, which offers movies, satellite TV and music channels. The flat screen doubles as a computer monitor to access complimentary in-room Internet. Wine Cruises These popular cruises spotlight Europe’s wine regions along the Danube, Douro, Rhine, Rhone and Seine Rivers, with visits to wineries and vineyards as well as onboard lectures and tastings hosted by top wine experts. Enjoy delicious dinners with paired wines, too!

Jewish Heritage Cruises Guests have the option to visit synagogues, museums and other sights significant in Jewish history and culture. Excursions include such highlights as the home of Holocaust hero Oscar Schindler, the Nuremberg Palace of Justice and Vienna’s Jewish Museum.

Christmas Markets Cruises From late November to December, much of Europe is transformed into a winter wonderland. Traditional Christmas Markets, extravagantly decorated cities, and snow capped villages make for a memorable and magical holiday experience.

Knitting New Year’s Cruise (winter 2014) Hosted by textile expert and author Barry Klein, AmaWaterways’ first knitting cruise on the Danube showcases the newest luxury yarns, fashion forums, classes on new stitch patterns and techniques, as well as the opportunity to ring in the New Year in Vienna, Austria.
