At Fred. Holidays, we understand that every traveller is unique, with different interests, styles and passions. We’ve created a range of traveller types to help you discover the journeys that best suit who you are - or who you want to be!
You own binoculars for bird-watching, your phone’s background is a forest, and yes, you’ll insist that everyone just breathe in the mountain air. Preferring wildlife watching, hiking or simply enjoying breathtaking landscapes.
Life is better with a wine glass in one hand and a museum guide in the other. You’ll willingly get lost in historic sites, art galleries, and cosy cafés - You’re there, snapping pics all while dropping some niche history facts to impress your friends.
You’re convinced that any journey worth taking is best done by train, preferably with scenic mountains, river views, and a refreshing glass of something to help you unwind. You appreciate both the journey and the views along the way.
You’re a city creature at heart. You crave bustling streets, trendy cafes, and culture by the bucketful. Urban landscapes are your preferred jungle, with a good mix of art, food, and energy. Who needs fresh air when you have street art?
You have a certain flair for adventure, but only if it’s paced gently along a scenic river. The idea of rushing rapids is so passé—you’re here for smooth sailing and steady cocktails. Nothing says “explorer” like a plush deck chair.
You’re a seafarer in spirit, minus the rum and eyepatch. Cruises are your thing—you love the luxury, the scenery, and the idea that the ocean is basically your private backyard. For true relaxation, nothing beats the open waters.
You don’t do ordinary. A bit of rugged wilderness sounds like heaven to you. You’re the explorer who’s fine with roughing it (or at least pretending to). Why settle for ordinary holidays when you could be, you know, discovering something?
If it’s thrilling, rugged, or involves mountain trails and cold lakes, you’re game “Leisurely stroll” is not in your vocabulary. You prefer epic views, and telling people about that one time you almost got lost in the wilderness.
