DISCOVER AMSTERDAM

THE HAGUE

Your guide will take you along Amsterdam’s best neighbourhoods. Discover the heart of the city in the Jordaan area, the most authentic neighbourhood of Amsterdam. Your guide will tell you about the Jordanese traditions, the turbulent past and its famous residents. During the tour we can enjoy a nice cup of coffee at one of the authentic cafés. Afterwards we continue to the Dam Square, where you can find the Royal Palace, New Church and the National Monument. By foot or by tram we will reach the beautiful flower market, where you will have some time to stroll around. A great walk to discover the true Amsterdam!

The Hague is one of the most extraordinary cities in Holland. Not just because it is the headquarters of the government, but also because of its many monuments, historic districts and its location near the beautiful North Sea coastline. The Hague is also known as the ‘Royal City by the Sea’ and is called ‘the residence city’ because of the many members of the Dutch Royal Family who reside in its chic neighborhoods. Truly, you have not seen Holland until you have been to The Hague.

ZAANSE SCHANS The Zaanse Schans is one of the highlights of the Netherlands, just outside Amsterdam. Be part of a vibrant and stunning living and working community that dates back to the 18th and 19th centuries. It’s packed with wooden windmills, barns, houses and museums and built in the typically Dutch wooden architectural style, relocated here piece by piece since 1961. The Zaanse Schans will easily fill half a day– there is so much to see, taste, smell and experience! Take a walk through the stunning buildings and the unique peat meadow landscape. Come and watch traditional crafts such as clog-and cheese-making or visit the windmills and traditional buildings.

DELFT BLUE POTTERY MUSEUM A visit to the beautiful city Delft, will take you to the Delft Pottery Museum. The museum has a huge collection of Delft Blue antiques, which gives you a glimpse of the history of Delft Blueware. Every 10 minutes there is a free guided tour.
