We are grounded by our vision—a vibrant region with opportunity for all—and it’s a statement that’s much more than just a hope for the community’s future. It’s a vision that our nonprofit partners, donors and collaborators have embraced as well.

We are fortunate to be engaged with so many donors, partners and residents who want to make a great community even better—it’s a continuing process that will help the Community Foundation and its nonprofit partners have lasting impact in countless ways that benefit all those we serve. During a time of unthinkable need, those people we call heroes step up to help those around them. Throughout the course of the pandemic, we witnessed the heart, generosity, and empathy of heroes in our community and elsewhere who were willing to help those in greatest need.

FINDING SOLUTIONS
In 2020, our organization took on one of its most significant and important initiatives to date, racial equity and social justice. Like all of the Community Foundation’s initiatives, this is a long-term commitment to address a longstanding community challenge. We will do our part to ensure that all investments in the community are viewed through an equity lens and benefit all.
