Treachery and nobility, family and honor, ambition and love, death and survival... Montegrappa is proud to announce its newest line of pens to commemorate one of the most successful television sagas in history. Based on the story and HBO show created by George R.R. Martin, Montegrappa brings a set for each family in the series that includes a fountain pen, rollerball, and ballpoint. This amazing collection of writing instruments represents each of the four key families: Stark, Baratheon, Lannister, and Targaryen. The pens are enhanced by a collective style, each pen designed for the family it represents with emblems as representative of the clan. All pen bodies are made with colorful lacquered surfaces, while the trims are fashioned of palladium, 18k gold, or bronze plating, with “Game of Thrones” engraved on the cap ring. All of the fountain pen nibs are formed in stainless steel, decorated with a sword, and are available in Fine, Medium, and Broad widths. The fountain pen is both cartridge and converter-fed, with the converter included. The pen packaging also evokes the period and symbol of each family.
A House Lannister: A regal red accented in contrasting yellow gold is the dominant color, featuring a lion’s head for its pocket clip, and a lion rampant on the cap’s top, above the motto “Hear Me Roar.” A floral pattern reminiscent of the Tudor Rose decorates the cap.

B House Baratheon: Colored a somber charcoal, but accented in contrasting yellow gold, the pen features a stag’s head for its pocket clip, with a stag rampant on the cap’s top, above the motto “Ours Is The Fury.” A fleur-de-lis pattern decorates the cap. C House Targaryen: Only a fiery, metallic red against a coal-black background could represent House Targaryen. Naturally, a dragon’s head forms the pocket clip, while a dragon coils above the legend “Fire and Blood” on the cap’s top. A filigree pattern graces the cap. D House Stark: With its northern origins, the color chosen for this family’s pen is a silverywhite, accented in palladium, conveying winter. The pen is made of brass, so it is heavier than a normal 1911S which is made of resin.
