I have two favorite on-property guest experiences. First is our compliemntary Pasta Class which I love as it’s an opportunity to have a delightful time in the kitchen and to learn how to create traditional handmade pasta using locally sourced ancient grains. Second is our Grigliata night which is an Italian versino of a barbeque. It’s a warm, familial dining event taking place in our historical garden, with a beautifully decorated long table adorned with twinkling lights and fresh flowers, it’s always a memorable convivial dinner for our guests.

The sunset experiences at Casa Chablé are my favorite because of the surprised reactions of our guests. The Welcome Ceremony is a Mayan ritual in which we ask for well-being to the Four Elements (earth, water, wind, and fire); we play traditional instruments such as the snail, the rain stick, and whistles carved in the shape of essential animals for the Mayan worldview. It is a very spiritual moment where the staff connects with the guests, and everyone connects with the sacred land on which we find ourselves.
