Taking the current pandemic progress in Portugal into consideration, the country will enter a state of calamity with some new restrictions applicable as from the 1st of December, namely: •
It is necessary to present a valid negative Covid test, PCR or Lateral Flow, when entering national territory;
•
The use of a mask is mandatory when indoors;
•
A digital Covid certificate is mandatory when accessing restaurants, hotels, local accommodation, gyms, and events with assigned seating. Members and guests staying at Four Seasons Fairways will not have to present a digital Covid certificate at the resort´s restaurants and gym;
•
A negative Covid test, PCR or Lateral Flow, is mandatory when accessing old age homes, hospitals & health centres, large events without assigned seating (like concerts), bars and discos;
•
Work from home is recommended when possible;
Four Seasons Fairways will continue to implement the “Clean & Safe” protocol, created by the Portuguese Tourism Board and in accordance with the guidelines of the General Directorate of Health (DGS), ensuring a safe environment for our members and guests. This protocol is for members and guests and extracts relevant information from our Internal Protocol. It´s objective is to inform all our members and guests of the behaviours to be adopted as well as the access conditions for the different services provided during your stay at Fairways.

1. SOCIAL CONDUCT
1.1. HAND HYGIENE Suitable hand washing with soap and water several times a day or whenever warranted, for at least 20 seconds, or use of alcohol-based cleaning solution. 1.2. RESPIRATORY ETIQUETTE Do not cough or sneeze into your hands or in the air. You should do it into the fold of the elbow with the forearm, or use disposable tissues. 1.3. SOCIAL DISTANCING Social distancing of 1.5 metres is recommended at all times. 1.4. SELF-MONITORING OF SYMPTOMS The most common symptoms are a high temperature (38°or greater), persistent cough (or worsening of an existing cough) and breathing difficulties. Everyone should monitor their own symptoms and if you experience any of the above you should immediately contact SNS number 808 24 24 24 and stay in your villa awaiting further instructions. You should also inform reception immediately so we can follow the procedures in the company’s contingency plan. 1.5. INDIVIDUAL PROTECTION The use of a mask is compulsory in indoor spaces as from the 1st of December onwards, including the following instances as outlined by the Goverment and General Directorate of Health (DGS): •
In public transport (including air transport and taxis or TVDE), concert halls and events, commercial establishments including Shopping Centres, residential structures for the elderly, health establishments and services.
It is however recommended that a mask should be worn outdoors when the required social distance cannot be maintained.

2. PREVENTION PROCEDURES 2.1. SECURITY a) The security guard will need to see your membership card, or have your name and villa number; 2.2. RECEPTION a) At the entrance of the clubhouse there will be alcohol-based solution and we recommend that you disinfect your hands before entering; b) At the reception desk please ensure the recommended social distancing; c) The porters will clean/disinfect: a. Luggage before it is transported or stored, should you not agree with this process the porter will not be able to handle your luggage. b. Buggies after guests or luggage transportation. d) Before and after the rental of bicycles we clean them together with any additional equipment (helmets, etc.). All bike reservations must be confirmed at least 24h in advance so we can ensure the equipment is sanitised; e) We recommend payment for the services used during your stay to be made by signing off to your villa account or made by credit card to avoid payment in cash;
2.3. GOLF SHOP (open from 09:00 to 13:00 and from 13:30 to 17:00) a) We recommend that you disinfect your hands with the provided alcohol-based solution upon entering and exiting the Shop and maintain the required social distancing; b) Rental equipment is sanitised before delivery and after return; c) Sales items are regularly cleaned; d) Garments that have been tried on but not purchased and returns are quarantined for 48 hours; 2.4. RESTAURANTS AND BAR 2.4.1. Bar (open from 08:00 to 00:30) a) We recommend that you disinfect your hands with the provided alcohol-based solution upon entering and exiting the Bar and maintain the required social distancing; b) Pens, menus, counter, tables and chairs are sanitised after each use; 2.4.2. Restaurant (open from 08:00 to 21:45) a) We recommend that you disinfect your hands with the provided alcohol-based solution upon entering and exiting the Restaurant and maintain the required social distancing;

b) It is recommended to pre-book or confirm table availability by telephone before you make your way to the restaurant; c) Pens, menus, surfaces, tables, and all other items are sanitised after use; d) Digital menus are optionally available; e) Utensils, surfaces, benches and other frequently handled objects are regularly sanitised; f)
We recommend payment for the services used during your stay to be made by signing off to your villa account or made by credit card to avoid payment in cash;
g) We are offering a reasonable take away menu with delivery to your villa, without additional fees when the order exceeds 25€. Please make sure you make your order in advance by telephone or any digital format available; the delivery service is available between 09:00 and 21:00 and must be pre-ordered with at least one hour in advance.

POOLS AND JACUZZI (open from 08:00 to 19:00)
2.5.1 Pools a) Pools are sanitised daily according to the applicable procedures (with the appropriate amount of chlorine). Chlorine is kept at the highest possible level within legal limits; b) The pool surfaces are cleaned daily and disinfected every week, or whenever is justified by use; c) Loungers and parasols are sanitised before and after use; d) It is recommended the use of swimming goggles inside the pools; e) Members and guests are required to: a. Wear flip-flops; b. Shower immediately before entering the pool.
2.5.2 Jacuzzi The Jacuzzi, Turkish Bath and Sauna are operational once again and are sanitised accordingly.
2.6
GYM (open from 08:00 to 19:30)
a) We recommend that you disinfect your hands with the provided alcohol-based solution upon entering and exiting the Gym and maintain the required social distancing; b) Ensure you clean and disinfect the equipment before and after use; c) Group classes are held maintaining social distancing and are subject to pre-booking; d) Cleaning and sanitisation is carried out in accordance with established standards;

TENNIS COURTS (open from 08:00 to 20:00)

a) Access to the Tennis Courts is made by pre-booking through reception; b) Before each use the cleaning of equipment with the appropriate products is carried out, namely rackets and tennis balls.
2.8
MINI-MARKET (open from 08:00 to 18:00)
a) We recommend that you disinfect your hands with the provided alcohol-based solution upon entering and exiting the Mini-market and maintain the required social distancing; b) We are offering a delivery service to the villa, without additional fees when the order exceeds 25€ or alternatively, you may collect your shopping from the mini-market at an agreed time; the delivery service is available between 11:30 and 16:00 and must be preordered with at least one hour in advance; c) We recommend payment for the services used during your stay to be made by signing off to your villa account or made by credit card to avoid payment in cash; d) The facilities and objects are regularly sanitised in accordance with the recommended regulations;

KIDSCLUB & CRECHE (open from 10:00 to 13:00 and from 14:00 to 17:00)
a) It is mandatory to pre-book 24 hours in advance by digital means or by telephone; b) We recommend that you disinfect your hands with the provided alcohol-based solution upon entering and exiting the Kids Club and maintain the required social distancing; c) The entertainment programme includes: a. Individual activities, so as to keep children at a distance, allowing social distancing according to the rules in force; b. Outdoor activities maintaining social distancing. d) We ensure whenever possible that children do not share objects or that they are sanitised in between uses; e) Surfaces, tools, and all equipment/items are sanitised after use. f)
We encourage frequent hand washing and/or disinfection of both children and employees;
g) Employees are instructed to be alert to any signs of symptoms that children may present and inform parents and management immediately. h) The facilities, equipment, toys and tools are sanitised according to the established standards. i)
It´s recommended that babies bring a change of clothes or utensils;

2.10 PLAYGROUND (KIDS AND TEENAGERS)
These facilities remains closed until further notice.
2.11 CLUB ROOM a) Snooker table: a. Equipment (cues, balls, table and scoreboard) are cleaned and disinfected after each use.
2.12 PUBLIC AREAS a) All customer service areas (entrance hall, club room, WC, corridors, stairwells, furniture, etc.) are clean and sanitised and disinfected according to established standards; b) Cleaning of the most critical equipment has been reinforced (which are handled more frequently) such as handles, surfaces, switches, amongst others.
2.13 HOUSEKEEPING a) Your villa will be cleaned and sanitised before arrival, following this process the villa will be sealed “Clean & Safe” to guarantee that no one enters the villa before your arrival; b) Daily cleaning service is available, charge applicable;
2.14 AMELIA’S HAIRDRESSER & BEAUTY THERAPY/MASSAGES (open Tuesday to Friday from 10:00 to 13:00 and from 14:00 to 19:00. Saturdays from 14:00 to 19:00) a)
These services are by pre-appointment only;
b)
We recommend that you disinfect your hands with the provided alcohol-based solution upon entering and exiting the Salon and maintain the required social distancing;
c)
Single use disposable material (hairdresser overalls, gloves, massage table covers, etc.);
d)
The material for regular use such scissors, brushes and other utensils are sterilised and disinfected in appropriate sterilizers;
e)
Cleaning and space sanitizing, including surfaces, chairs, door handles, etc., are carried out between each service;
