A special rod for jigging! Predator world champion Dietmar Isaiasch says: “The take, when a fish takes the bait, is translated to me in a unique way with the Shad Jigger. With this rod I really feel everything: each tiny stone on the bottom, the hardness of the bottom, when the lure is masked with debris and each shy bite is translated like a stroke of lightning”. The Shad Jigger is a rod with a specially constructed blank. A take is not only registered, but easily converted and even a hard fighting fish can be tamed easily. Vertical jigging may be a sensitive way of fishing, but sometimes the perfect rod for this type of fishing not only has to handle heavy shad and lead combos, but also has to bring up large predators from a fast flowing or deep water. Use the V-Jig Power and you won’t have a problem! SR = S hallow Runner

Lures with the SR logo are “Shallow runners”. They have a very small and flat diving lip, so they will only move in the upper water layers down to 1 or 2 meters but not deeper. They are perfect for fishing shallow waters or when the predators are hunting in the upper water layers.

SSR = Super S hallow Runner

Lures with the SSR logo are “Super Shallow Runners”. They have a tiny diving lip and will swim just a few centimeters under the surface. It doesn´t matter how fast you retrieve the lure - they will not dive deeper but will work right beneath the surface. Ideal for weedy waters or for surface predators.

SP = Suspending

Lures with the SP logo are “Suspending“. This mark has got nothing to do with the size or position of the diving lip or the diving depth but indentifies the floating-sinking capabilities. SP lures will sink very, very slowly or hang right in the same water depth after a spin stop.

F = Floating

Lures with the F logo are “Floating“. This does not refer to the diving lip or its diving capabilities. It just tells us that this lure will float right up to the surface and will dive when retrieved in relation to form, position and size of the diving lip. With every spin stop it will rise again up to the surface.

S = Sinking

Lures with the S logo are “Sinking“! This does not tell refer to the diving lip or its diving capabilities. In this case the lure will sink after the cast, slowly right down to the bottom. When retrieved the lip will give the lure its action and with every spin stop the lure will sink deeper.

DR = Deep Runner

Lures with the DR logo are “Deep Runners”. They have a large horizontal diving lip with a slight inclination. These lures will always dive very fast up to 3 to 5 meters. Ideal for deeper waters or when the predators are right on the bottom.

SDR = Super Deep Runner

Lures with the SDR logo are “Super Deep Runners”. They have a very large horizontal diving lip with almost no inclination. These lures will immediately dive very fast down to 6 metres or even more. Ideal for deep lakes or when the predators are right on the lake bed, you can hit the ground with the lip to attract fish.

If you prefer fishing a slim floating wobbler, instead of a suspending SR version, than the DR or even the SDR is for you. Thanks to the specially formed diving lip (much the same as an ice spoon) it dives quickly to depths from 4.5 to over 6 metres. The steel balls inside the body are positioned in such a way that should the lure get stuck on the bottom, the rear end of the wobbler will lift up and the Slick Stick will free itself. Apart from the lifelike look, it is mainly the narrow action around its own centre which makes this lure so attractive. Whether on reservoirs and lakes or in a fast flow, the Slick Stick will keep its track, without sharp movements to the side or even out of the water. This makes it a true hit for trolling and for when you have to fish your lures fast!

As with all three models in the Pro Series, the ‘Hitcher’ was built as true to life as possible. Most Japanese crankbaits are very detailed copies of marine or non-native prey fish, however the Hitcher, realistically imitates native fish in colour, shape and swimming action.

Perch are known to be one of the preferred prey species of pike and was the original model for this crankbait series which gives the lure the typically humpback, slightly compact shape. The Hitcher is available in nine different types and many different sizes.

The ‘Crank & Troll’ version is especially suited for trolling or straight reeling and cranking in. Under a constant tension this version staggers to the side and the steel balls in its belly create highly attractive reverberating vibrations. It looks like a perch, swims like a perch and can easily be mistaken for a perch! Livebait fishing was never as well imitated as it is with this bait. Developed after two years of experimentation to find a multi-part crankbait which swims as naturally as a real perch - the favourite prey of big pike. As its name implies the Crank & Troll can be spin-fished or trolled. Under a constant pull it swims straight through the water and the steel balls in the front of the body make hollow knocks which are highly effective in stimulating big fish to strike. “Incredible, just incredible…” is the reaction of almost every pike angler who sees the action of the Hitcher Jerk & Twitch! The Jerk & Twitch version of the Hitcher is unique: similar to a Slider-Jerk, it cuts through the water without resistance, but can also break out to the side and show its flank when the speed is increased. In less than three months testing we caught more than 100 pike and even scored very well on heavily fished waters! Similar to the other Hitcher versions, its great success rate is not just based on the action, but also the sound created by steel balls in the bait and the red hook at the base of the bait.

The Hitcher Jerk & Twitch is available in two sizes: 80 mm and 120 mm. The smaller version is the perfect Mini-Jerk for trout, perch, pike, chub and zander. If you want a crankbait which looks just like a prey fish – you have just found it, the ‘Gonzo’! With the Gonzo we offer a slightly plump, hard lure with a teaser tail in two versions: SR – shallow runner and DR – deep runner. The teaser tail is a very special feature on both Gonzos as it divides the crankbait into two segments, but doesn’t provide the typical motion of two-segment baits. The heart of the Legend is the twelve loose tentacles that act independently and pulsate during jigging, and then lay flat during the sinking phase. As soon as the bait hits the bottom the tentacles open up, then close automatically after one to two seconds. This action triggers an instinctive snap reflex in very shy predators. The incredible action is created by injecting a special rubber mixture into the bait during manufacturing. Fork Tail

V-shaped rubber baits are now very common, but few constantly produce good results. However the Fork Tail is a reliable classic! When you hold the Fork Tail you instantly notice the slightly stiff rubber mixture. If you carefully move it by hand the shad starts to vibrate and its tail keeps moving for seconds. This is a particularly attractive action which has great advantages for drop shot or vertical fishing. With a softer rubber mixture, the whole body would vibrate, but the effect of prolonged vibration would be missing and this is the key factor in the attraction. The particularly fine grain on the fish-like body gives a perfectly realistic appearance. The Fork Tail can be fished with a conventional jig (e.g. vertical fishing) as well as with an Offset Hook (e.g. soft-jerking) and because its belly slit is tiny it does not create problems when jigging. This is the rubber bait that caught more fish than any other on every test fishing trial! It didn’t take as many trophy fish as the Legend, but it was unbeatable in terms of numbers caught. These outstanding catch results are based on the Rip Shaker’s deep gouges. This is one of three rubber shads which have the same body shape but differently shaped tails. The Darter Tail has a very fine, pointed tail made from a hard rubber mixture that makes it stand away from the body and emit excellent vibration through the water.

The Darter Tail has a belly slot and should ideally be fished on an Offset hook, with the optimum hook size for the 100mm model being a 2/0 or 3/0, with a size 1 perfect for the smaller pattern. However, the Darter Tail can also be jigged or vertically fished using a common jig head, as the body slit has no adverse effect on action and provides enough space for a jig hook.

Wriggle Worm A real perch magnet, the shape of this bait creates an action so realistic it’s just like having a real worm on the hook! On its lower side the worm is fine grained, whilst the upper side is flat so a sudden pull twists then untwists the bait to give a perfect imitation of a real twisting worm. When Wacky-Style fishing it is advisable to put the hook through the flat side to increase water resistance and create an even more natural movement. There is almost no other soft bait that showed similar results in such a short time like the Zander Pro Shad. Its length of 4 inch (10 cm) perfectly represents almost all prey fish for zander in all water types be it a still water, canal or river. The clever shape of the tail not only produces a very natural lure movement, wobbling slightly from side to side but eliminates the risk of over-stretching the tail when fishing the shad or in fast moving water. In snaggy waters you need a jig that stands up from the lake bed and the solution is the Stand-up Lipstick Jig. The flattened head ensures that the jig will not fall to the side. For better hooking rates we have changed the standard hook to a VK round bend hook with a medium shank and a very wide gape. Tungsten Pencil DropS hot & Bullet Weig hts

Tungsten is a denser material than lead, which means for the same sized weight you can use a smaller sized profile producing more delicate presentations. This also means that the rig itself is less noticeable in the water because the weight is smaller. Similar to the treble hook, this hook from the Powerpoint family combines all of the advantages of a perfect lure fishing hook offering stability, stiffness, sharpness, low weight and it’s designed to give the perfect hook hold. In order to guarantee optimum bait presentation a jerk leader should be used when fishing with jerk, twitch and pull-baits. A jerk leader has two functions. Firstly, during jerk fishing it works as a spacer and prevents tangling of the treble hooks with the main line and, secondly, the jerk leader also prevents the line being cut by sharp teeth. The Rage Jerk Leaders are equipped with a clever spiral fastener that enables fast bait changing - even with cold fingers. All sharp ends are covered with shrink-tube to avoid line breakage. 19 Strand spin & Jig LEADERS It is often the last few centimetres before the hook that makes the difference between success and failure. CRIMPING PLIERS

Good connections are essential for all rigs. It doesn’t matter if you use steel, kevlar, mono or fluorocarbon - the fish is lost if your rig breaks. For this reason predator experts always crimp their rigs and with the correct sized sleeve, crimped by the right pliers, you get a safe connection that guarantees almost 100% of the linear breaking strain of the rig material. Due to the shape of the pliers, as well as the five pressure points, the sleeve is not stressed and is squeezed only in the middle leaving the two ends protruding with no sharp edges. One tip worth noting is to put your rig material twice through the sleeve to get the best breaking strain. These Crimping Pliers are the same used for all hand-made Fox Rage rigs.
