six natural ways for women to boost libido BY RACHAEL HELLMAN
6 FOX & NUG • SUMMER 2017
S
prinkling magnet dust from lodestone onto their genitals, the ancient Assyrians took attraction quite literally. The p and vagee, they reasoned, would have no choice but to be drawn to each other. We wish we could have been there to see it. Today, though, aphrodisiacs as we know them are primarily targeted to men, and are the stuff of reliably cheesy and heteronormative Viagra commercials. For men who have a “hard” time getting it up, erectile dysfunction medications liberate them of their troubles and teleport them to an empty beach with two (two!) bathtubs. What a sweet deal. For women who feel left out, and who have “hypoactive sexual desire disorder,” which, according to the FDA is “characterized by low sexual desire that causes marked distress or interpersonal difficulty and is not due to a co-existing medical or psychiatric condition, problems within the relationship, or the effects of a medication or other drug substance,” pharmaceutical companies have their back. Except not really, of course. Flibanserin, sold under the trade name “Addyi,” is intended to be the answer to low libido in women.
Predictably, Flibanserin comes with a host of iffy side-effects like nausea, dizziness, fainting, and insomnia, and functions much differently than Viagra. Not only do studies show that Flibanserin only works for about 1 in 10 women (as compared to Viagra, which works nearly 100 percent of the time), but the drug impacts neurotransmitters in the brain, much like antidepressant drugs. Users also have to take it every day—not just when they want to have sex—and it takes week to experience peak effects. And those “peak effects” aren’t even that awesome. In trials, women who took a placebo reported 3.7 “sexually satisfying events” per month, while those that took flibanserin reported 4.5. Call us crazy, but potentially barfing and passing out isn’t worth 0.8 more sexually satisfying events, which, by the way, doesn’t even need to include orgasm as defined by the study’s parameters. We all know how much cannabis helps with libido, but we want to give you the roundup of a few more natural aphrodisiacs to add to your life. And no: oysters and honey aren’t it. Keep in mind that we aren’t doctors, so please consult with yours before trying anything new.

MACA Maca is a root vegetable that beats beets on the sex front. From the Andes region of Peru and with a distinct butterscotch flavor, maca aids in fertility, sexual arousal, and hot flashes. Grab it in powder form and add it to your bedtime smoothies, if you know what we mean.
GINSENG Men love it as a natural alternative to Viagra; women love it (especially menopausal women) because it aids in sexual arousal. Opt for Korean red ginseng, which can be found in supplement form. The side effects are minimal, but be aware that ginseng does have estrogenic properties. Avoid it if you are sensitive to hormones.
L-ARGININE Sex or cheese? Choose two. Foods like cheese, nuts, eggs, and meat are rich in l-arginine, an amino acid that increases blood flow to all the places that matter. Plus, it keep you nice and—that word everyone hates—moist. It’s an immune system booster, too! You can also find it in supplement form.
8 FOX & NUG • SUMMER 2017
TRIBULUS TERRESTRIS Used in ancient Indian and Chinese traditions to boost sex drive, the tribulus fruit stimulates the same hormones that make you ovulate: LH (luteinizing hormone) and FSH (follicle stimulating hormone). An adaptogen that can be found in supplement form, tribulus has also been shown have anti-stress effects. Less stress is never a bad thing for sex.
FENUGREEK The ancient Romans, Greeks, and Egyptians knew what was up when they used fenugreek as a libido increaser for men and women. Reminiscent of maple syrup in taste, fenugreek can be taken in seed or leaf form. Full of phytoestrogens, fenugreek also promotes healthy breast tissue and milk production. If you take it, budget for some new bras. (Or, you know, don’t wear one.)
WARMING SPICES A hot cup of cocoa warms your heart; a hot cup of ginger, cinnamon, and nutmeg warms your loins. According to Ayurvedic practices, adding literal heat to your diet can not only increase your appetite for food, but also help with blood flow in the abdominal and pelvic regions. Warming spices can be taken in capsule form (do your research to find a brand known to be pure), or steep them in hot water to make a tea.

A BLIND TASTE TEST HOW IT WORKS : We put blindfolds on 4 foxes
and put their tastebuds to the test as they sampled some of our favorite infused beverages on the market. These women had no previous knowledge of the brands participating or flavors entered. After the blind taste test we sent the ladies home with the beverages to rate them one at a time for absorption rate and overall experience of the high. Of the 8 beverages rated, we selected the 4 that rated the highest across all areas. The sodas have been rated for flavor, smell, absorption rate, and overall experience with 1 star being not favorable to 5 stars being very favorable. All these beverages are best served ice cold! Send us a photo of you drinking your favorite infused beverage and you could be “regrammed” on our instagram page to over 30K followers. @foxandnug #faveflave

here is an extracts company stirring the pot this year with connoisseur quality concentrates at an affordable price for all cannabis patients. I’ve honestly never seen concentrates like this before and the new kid on the block changing the game is Apothecary Farms. After seeing their mouthwatering live resin and terp sauce around the Denver area I purchased a few of them from our friends over at local dispensary, Standing Akimbo. Talk about flaaavor. Wow. Naturally, I felt beyond compelled to reach out. After a short conversation with their Marketing Director, Woody, we received a warm invite to tour their facility and meet with their staff. We drove a short ways down I-25 to the beautiful city of Colorado Springs to take a tour of Apothecary Farms. Our first impression walking into their storefront was modern, clean, warm and inviting. Their staff members were extremely kind and very informative. We immediately felt at home walking through their facility. It became very clear Apothecary Farms had a very team-oriented culture as soon as we walked through the doors.

These extract artists are literally growing THC-a crystals! Whether in the grow, extraction lab, or storefront, we were greeted by a team of caring individuals. The grow was very healthy. All of the plants looked strong, smelled incredible and the bloom rooms were laden with trichomes. On to the extraction lab! Their extraction team showed us a few products that were simply jaw-dropping. The colors. The terps. The crystals! It was pretty overwhelming how amazing everything looked and smelled. These extract artists are literally growing THC-a crystals! Just to see the process is mindblowing! Who knew cannabis would evolve from the ancient cannabis flower to new age crystals dipped in golden terp juice? We smelled some Clementine that makes my mouth water even now just thinking about it. Quality, talent, and passion. Simple really. They are changing the game and we couldn’t possibly speak highly enough of their staff, products, and facility. You have got to check them out in the Springs and be sure to catch one of their Ambrosia Days events! Can you say $25 grams of sauce?! Thanks Apothecary Farms!

ASPEN OG Beautiful. Just beautiful. Definitely our favorite structure with such a vibrant color. Tastes of very crisp OG, fresh earth, and a tiny floral hint. Overall, it’s a full, well rounded, crisp dab for those #wasteittotasteit lovers out there.
DUTCH SCHULTZ What a surprise! It smells of rich pine, earth, and menthol. Just you wait though. One low temp dab will bring a burst of earthy OG, kush, and sweet pine! Not for the faint of heart. This shit will knock you out.
20 FOX & NUG • SUMMER 2017
LEMON PARTY This might have the most intense flavor of the bunch. It’s has a hint of orange, is extremely hazy, and sweet with a serious splash of lemon. The perfect daytime sauce for those who prefer to keep the ‘party’ going.
SOUR GRAPES This sauce is very terpy. When you open the jar get ready to smile. Sour Grapes is a golden saucy burst of sweet, hazy, floral grapes straight to the face. Mmm! Another great daytime experience.
MAMBO Our personal favorite thus far. The crystals are rather large as they sit happily in a terpy mess of flavor. Sweet, floral, and hazy with a hint of pine, this sauce will leave such an amazing lingering taste on your palate. You’re welcome.

ne of our favorite discoveries of 2017 is a local coffee roaster, Sträva Craft Coffee. We’ve tried some other brands of infused coffees in the past but nothing comes close. We’re not the only ones who have noticed though, 5280 recognized Sträva in the “2017 Top of the Town” for roasting some of the best coffee in Denver; a fact we definitely appreciated. However, what really captured our attention was the Sträva line of hemp oil infused coffees - a decadent specialty grade coffee that pairs perfectly with CBD. Sträva sources single-origin, specialty grade coffee beans then roasts them fresh and infuses them inhouse. We noticed the well balanced effects of CBD & caffeine right away and the rich nutty flavor of the Colombian coffee bean was just right. We eagerly shared Sträva with friends, family and co-workers. This is what they had to say.... “I have a cup Sträva first thing in the morning, every morning. I add a little bit of coconut oil and essential oils and within minutes I can start to feel relief in my joints.” Danny W. Vietnam Veteran “I usually can’t have a lot of coffee because I’m sensitive to caffeine. I use their decaf and I can have more than 3 cups if I want to!” Ashley P. Stay at home mom “Great coffee beans and blends, especially their cold brew and CBD infused varieties. The CBD really helps with my migraine pain and anxiety. I have also enjoyed their iced coffee in a local coffee shop in Denver. A+++” Jay J. Source : Facebook We can’t say enough good things about this company, its culture, values or its products! ummer is here and it’s about time to add a new shiny piece of glass to the collection. Maybe it’s time for a new dab rig or possibly a nice dry pipe? Finding that right piece can be quite the challenge, and sometimes buying the cheapest option might seem like the right choice, but here are a few facts and guidelines that have always steered me to a solid and satisfying purchase. Hopefully by the end of this article you will be on your way to purchasing glass with confidence! Glass pipes can be made of Borosilicate or Soft glass. Soft glass is weaker than Borosilicate and made from raw materials such as sodium carbonate (baking soda), lime, dolomite, silicone dioxide (silica), aluminum oxide, and trace amounts of other fining agents. It is commonly used for most imported glass and prone to cracking due to cheaper material, often not reacting well to temperature changes. Borosilicate is mainly formed of silica and boron trioxide and is very resistant to temperature changes when annealed properly. It is the most durable form of glass and the most commonly used material for glass blowers in USA.
are not made with the consideration that it will be used for a smoking device which brings up endless fields of doubt. Which is which? Due to a majority target audience of the budgetminded consumer, your local glass shop might try to push you to look at their higher profit margin (lower priced) imported pieces. Sure that pipe is easier on the wallet, but at what risk to your body? Imports are production style and very few colors are used (common import colors are clear, white, blue, amber, green, and black). These manufactures cut costs which results in using less materials, in other words thinner (lighter in weight), less durable, unannealed glass. Due to the production mindset, imported glass is mainly machinemade with a lathe.
USA pipe makers focus on making evenly thick pipes, usually heavier than imported glass
Annealing of glass is a process of slowly cooling hot glass objects after they have been formed to relieve residual internal stresses introduced during manufacturing of it. Import sourced borosilicate can also have impurities making the structure and COE (Coefficient of Expansion) weak, which correlates to cracks and breakage. Imported Pipes are always weaker due to not being properly annealed (to save costs on electricity) which means the glass is full of stress. Stress in glass can cause cracking with the slightest vibration or simply over time. Most Imported bowls are drilled once they are received in the US causing more stress, and harmful glass dust to remain inside the glass potentially harming the consumer. Heavily produced pieces
There have been cases where imported glass is painted on the inside of pipes with harmful, toxic paint to seem more appealing to the consumer.
USA borosilicate glass comes in a variety of colors making it more artistic when it comes to making custom pipes. USA pipe makers tend to hand make pipes with passion, which drives them to develop new techniques and designs, resulting in a more unique and distinctive product. USA pipe makers focus on making evenly thick pipes, usually heavier than imported glass USA glass: More durable, artistic, handmade (by an artist), innovative, domestically sourced materials, made as a device to be used to inhale. Imported glass: Prone to breaking due to being weak from not being annealed & thinner glass, production style only, limited colors, copies/clones of designs originally made from USA artists, not considering that you will use it as a device to inhale, poor working environments (not properly ventilated), child labor, shipped from across the world (oil use/ environmental pollution).

HALF FULL ARTIST FEATURE
F&N : How did you get into glass blowing? HFG : My first true love was woodworking, I had a teacher in high school, Mr. Ricketts. Ricketts was the shit, as the kids say, he encouraged my creativity and pretended not to see if I was making the occasional wooden pipe. I spent all of my free time in that shop, study halls, lunch break and as many classes as I could sign up for in that room. I got out of high school and dreamed of blowing glass for a year but never really thought it would be possible until I discovered Penland School of Crafts. My mom, desperate for me to receive some kind of higher education, suggested it remembering her own experience with glass there in the late 70s. I signed up for a two week course and fell in love, before leaving I signed up to return that fall for a two month concentration with Micah Evans and Matt Eskuche. That experience was truly life changing. I knew what I wanted in life for the first time ever, I could see my own future. F&N : How did you come across your iconic orb design? HFG : The orb design I stumbled across by trial and error, I almost even overlooked it. Luckily a friend pointed out the prototype and had to have it, he returned soon after to tell me how he thought it functioned better than his TK Happa. My work riddled with the thumb prints of my teachers and idols, Salt’s rip curl perc, Happa’s orb shape, Micah’s working style in the process. I am proud to say these thumb prints are there in my work and will continue to be a part of me. I couldn’t think of a better way to thank them than by combining what they gave to me into something unique from within myself.

F&N : Where are you based and how can people get their hands on your work? HF : Currently located in northeast Philadelphia where there is a strong glass presence, easily two dozen glass artists in a few blocks radius amongst many other artists in different mediums. Besides the extreme poverty in the area it’s not a bad place to be. Philly has a strong glass scene despite being on the east coast.
GREASY GLASS TRANSPARENT ROBINS EGG AND TAG PURPLE LOLLIPOP WITH A 10MM MINT OPAL COIN I operate through my IG and occasionally sell direct but mostly wholesale to shops and try to do so at reasonable prices! Clear orbs retail around $200 and full color versions like the one I sent to FOX & NUG retail for $540. My other more unique creations like the nug cyclers are upwards of $1,000 for full color. F&N : Why the name Half Full Glass? HFG : It is a constant reminder to always look at all perspectives and to stay positive in every situation! I’ve kept the studio in my IG as another reminder that one day I will own my own shop and provide space to new young glass blowers in the next generation of talent to come from this wild industry. 15 Ladyfingers 1 Cup Sträva Craft Coffee Espresso 4 Egg Yolks ½ Cup Sugar 1 Cup + 2 tablespoons Heavy Whipping Cream 1 Cup Mascarpone Cocoa Powder, for dusting
Place Ladyfingers in a 9x13 baking dish. Make some espresso with Sträva Coffee Elevate and pour over lady fingers evenly and allow to soak while you make the mascarpone filling. Place the egg yolks, sugar, and 2 tablespoons of the heavy cream in a small saucepan and whisk together well. Place over medium heat and whisk constantly, until the custard thickens (enough to coat the back of a spoon). Remove from heat, scrape into a large mixing bowl and let cool completely. In another bowl, beat the remaining heavy cream to stiff peaks. Set aside. Add the mascarpone to the cooled custard and whisk together until
smooth. Gently fold in the whipped cream until well combined. Ready 6 small serving dishes or ramekins. We used tiny mason jars. Place one ladyfinger in the bottom of the jar then pipe or spoon a layer of the mascarpone filling over the top of each ladyfinger. Continue to layer espresso-soaked ladyfingers and mascarpone filling until you reach the top of the serving dish. Try to end with a layer of filling. Scrape the tops of each dish with knife to leave a smooth surface. Dust the tops of each dish with cocoa powder. Garnish with three coffee beans. Refrigerate for several hours or overnight. Serve chilled!

Say hello to the lovely Katelyn Hansen! This fierce little fox is a twotime cancer survivor, brand-ambassador, entertainer and outdoor aficionado. We asked this fox how she discovered cannabis and she said “I was introduced to weed in college by a friend. He knew I had cancer and said ‘You just need to smoke some weed.’ So I just dove into it right after that. I use CBD to cure my own breast cancer. I’ve had cancer before and I used weed to help with my mental state, it really helps get me through. You have to be strong. So I found weed. I found yoga and I found Colorado.” Katelyn is a performer. A self professed “experience creator & entertainment specialist” I love costumes, live acting. I would love to be on Broadway. There’s something so exciting about creating an interactive experience that’s not just through a camera all the time.” Katelyn loves camping, being outside and considers herself a nature junkie. When we asked her what she would like to share with our readers she replied, “I would want them to know that they all have an incredible love force inside and they need to get in touch with it.” How do you do that? Katelyn will tell you… “You get in touch with it by sharing it.” Katelyn loves anything OG or Kush strain, her favorite method of ingestion is flower. “I’m a flower girl, I love joints and I use concentrates occasionally because I don’t want to ruin my tolerance.” Thank you Katelyn for sharing your story with us and for being such a lovely fox to work with! You are welcome in the Fox Den anytime!

W
hether you grow cannabis at an elite level or are just popping seeds for the first time, I’m sure you are always looking for ways to improve your garden. Have you thought about maximizing nutrient uptake with foliar feed? It could mean the difference between an average and an exceptional harvest. Let’s dive into an amazing product that I use once a week in conjunction with the VEG+BLOOM and +LIFE products for a fully rounded feed. PUSH foliar spray: The name does it every bit of justice. It’s a calcium-based foliar spray that I apply once a week in vegetative growth until the second week of bloom. I really notice a huge difference in my plants the day after every application. They always seem perky; rich green, explosive, and just seem to “push” their rate of growth to the next level. You can even spray PUSH with your lights on! Why use a calcium foliar spray? The benefits from giving your plants extra calcium are overwhelming! Here are a few for starters: Increased cell division, increased absorption of phosphorus and potassium, stimulates photosynthesis, and also makes the use of nitrogen more efficient! Wow! Talk about some key elements to growing. All of these benefits play a huge part in why my leaves are always so healthy and vibrant green!
Personally, I spray with PUSH every 5 days throughout vegetative growth and into the first two weeks of bloom as recommended. I generously mist every inch of the plants from top to bottom, I even spray under leaves and stalks too! You would be surprised how many strains call for this extra calcium. I know all of my favorite OGs and some of the Chem strains call for it so we need to get them all of the extra calcium possible. What time of day do you need to spray your plants? It simply doesn’t matter! Lights on or off! I always spray right when the lights are firing up, imitating morning dew. Give it a try! If you’re interested in trying out a foliar feed, PUSH is compatible with any and all nutrient and grow methods. I do strongly recommend using PUSH along with VEG+BLOOM to give your plants the extra calcium they desire; as PUSH was designed to work in perfect harmony with all of Hydroponic Research’s nutrients. It’s well worth the investment when you consider how much it can foster vibrant growth. Call your local grow store today and start supplementing your feed with PUSH.

THE HEMPEROR AND HIS
HEMPRESS Jack Herer was a force of nature, a man who was very passionate about spreading the news about the benefits of cannabis and how it could save the planet if we would just let it. Jack would converse with anyone who would lend an ear to hear his message. It could be the cashier in the grocery store, the drive thru clerk, a pastor, a policeman, homeless or rich it didn’t matter to Jack as long as the truth about cannabis was spread far and wide. Jack’s first cannabis book called, “G.R.A.S.S,” was published in 1973 and was the first and only weed grading scale book of its time. The second book, The Emperor Wears No Clothes, has sold over 700,000 copies worldwide. It was first published in 1985 and is in its 12th edition as of 2017. You wouldn’t be surprised to learn that his wife, Jeannie, was one of the lovely and thorough Editors of The Emperor Wears No Clothes. If you’re unfamiliar with the book, reading the Emperor will change your way of thinking immediately. It is a comprehensive tool that helps activists reference impactful evidence to support what mostly everybody knew already: cannabis could not be the dangerous drug our government was claiming it was. The Emperor can be credited with inspiring unlimited amounts of cannabis activists who have fought, and are still fighting for

He had slurred speech and had a difficult time walking, but that wouldn’t stop Jack from making progress in the cannabis legalization movement. Jeannie, Jack’s wife, was just as fired up about ending cannabis prohibition as Jack, but enjoyed a more behind-the-scenes approach, helping Jack to spread the truth about cannabis hemp. While Jack was on the road, Jeannie was answering the phone, checking and replying to emails, keeping up with all of Jack’s social media accounts, book sales and much more. At home, she was also taking good care of the still recovering Jack and it was beautiful to see the love and dedication they had for each other. They made the perfect team. I interviewed Jeannie for this article and would like to share some of the questions and responses. F&N : When and where did you first meet Jack?
Jeannie : Lots of pot. And his passion for the hemp movement. It took a long time for him to be able to speak clearly again, but he had a lot of practice because so many people wanted to talk to him all the time. Most stroke patients probably don’t get as much attention as Jack did. I’m sure that helped a lot. Once we found out about Rick Simpson, he started taking the cannabis oil and got better and better. F&N : Who were some of the more well known guests on Jack Herer TV? Jeannie : Andrew Simmons, writer. Arlin Trout, activist nominated as Vice Presidential Candidate by the Grassroots Party in 1996. Eddy Lepp, who went to prison for growing thousands and thousands of plants right along Highway 20 in Lake County, California, in plain view. Dr James Ketchum, author of “Chemical Warfare Secrets Almost Forgotten.” Jacqueline Patterson, who was in the documentary “In Pot We Trust.” We had Rick Simpson on there a lot, but only by phone, since he can’t come to the U.S.
It was beautiful to see the love and dedication they had for each other. They made the perfect team.
Jeannie : In 1994 I went to Holland with some friends so we could get cannabis prescriptions from a doctor there. We lived in Phoenix and the laws were really bad and we hoped it might give us some kind of protection if we ever got in trouble. We ended up going during the High Times Cannabis Cup in Amsterdam and that’s where I first met Jack. He was at a booth selling his book, “The Emperor Wears No Clothes.” I had read it a couple of years earlier, and was totally amazed by it.
I moved to Los Angeles in 1996, met him again there, and we were married on 9/9/99. F&N : What do you think Jack would say about current recreational laws in states that have them if he were still with us today? Jeannie : Probably that they aren’t good enough until everyone is allowed to grow it and no one goes to jail for any amount.

F&N : How did Jack recover from his first stroke?
F&N : Can you tell me how the Jack Herer strain came to be?
Jeannie : Sensi Seeds in Amsterdam named it after Jack because he was such a good activist. F&N : Can you tell me a little history on the Jack Pipe? Jeannie : Jack met a guy who had made a metal pipe with two holes in the mouth part. It got hot fast but Jack liked the idea and decided to try making it with wood. He put a dividing ridge in the bowl and there was this one guy, David Stoner (his real name) who could carve these little lung type holes on each side of it. If you packed it right, every hit would taste like the first hit on a new bowl. Jack named it the Double Barrel Double Venturi Richocheting Vortex Effect Pipe. F&N : How did Jack get the idea for The Emperor Wears No Clothes? Jeannie : Jack wrote his first book, “G.R.A.S.S.,” in 1973. It was about how much you could expect to pay for

different grades of pot and how stoned you should get from the different grades. He didn’t know anything about the history and other uses of cannabis hemp at that time. Once he started being known for that book, people would come up to him and ask him if he knew that paper and clothing used to be made from hemp, or that all the ships’ sails used to be made of hemp. He didn’t know anything about that and started researching it like mad. Then, in 1974, he took some acid with his partner, Captain Ed Adair, and everything he’d learned about cannabis hemp came together in his mind, and he realized that it could save the planet. That we wouldn’t have to cut down all the trees, and could use hemp biomass for clean-burning fuel to run cars, factories, power plants, and to heat our homes. That better clothes could be made from hemp instead of cotton, without all the poison. And better paper made from hemp, without all the poison used for tree paper. That hemp could stop acid rain, global warming and deforestation, and clean the soil. Jack always said that cannabis hemp is the number one natural resource for paper, fiber, food, fuel and medicine In 1981, Jack was protesting at the Federal Building in Los Angeles. Ronald Reagan had him arrested and Jack refused to pay a $5 fine and was sent to Terminal Island Prison for two weeks. While he was in there, he finally had the time to start writing down the things he’d learned about cannabis hemp. It started out as a poster. Then, as he learned more and more, it became a newspaper edition, and he published it in book form in 1985. F&N : What was it like for you being Jack’s wife? Describe your daily routine. Jeannie : First things first, roll a big fatty and smoke it with Jack. Every day I would check the cannabis hemp news on Google. If I saw anything good, I’d post it on MySpace and Current TV. When we were doing Jack Herer TV, I would film Jack talking about whatever news I found that day, then edit and post it. When he wasn’t

out on the road, people would come by to see him all the time. Jack had tons and tons of emails every day that I would try to keep up with. I’d take orders and send out books. If he was on the road, he’d call me at least 10 times a day. I was always pretty busy. F&N : How many HIgh Times Cannabis Cups did Jack receive? Jeannie : He got one, I think in 1999. F&N : Can you tell a little about the Jack Herer Cup? How it came to be? Jeannie : My friend, Steve McNeal, was trying to figure out a way to help me get the Jack Herer museum going and came up with the idea. He put the first one on a couple years ago at the MGM in Las Vegas, when Dead & Co. were playing there. Last year it was at the Hard Rock. F&N : I know a lot of people looked up to Jack as their hero. I’m one of them! Can you tell me who Jacks hero was? Jeannie : Jack’s biggest hero was his great friend and partner, Captain Ed Adair. I was lucky enough to have known and lived beside Jack and Jeannie for the last few years of his life and the conversations we shared are priceless and something I will always cherish! Jack inspired the cannabis revolution we have today and if it weren’t for his and Jeannie’s dedication, the cannabis world would not be the same. Jeannie is currently trying to put together a Jack Herer Hemp Museum in Las Vegas, Nevada to honor his work and showcase the most useful plant on Earth, cannabis hemp. She hopes that this museum will inspire people to understand the power of activism and education. One person can do so much good. Be one of those people!
