Being “interested” does not mean it has been “sold” to you “A car dealership friend was recently telling me about a customer he had just tried to help. The customer had taken a car for two test drives and showed interest but left, hesitant about the cost. In the meantime, another customer came along and bought the car on the spot. When the first customer returned, he was very upset the car had been sold. Expressing interest in a car is not the same as a down payment. Avoid this situation by: knowing your budget, getting pre-approved, and researching what you want. If you know your budget and the type of ride you want ahead of time, you won’t feel as obligated to hesitate. If researching sounds unappealing, contact me. I’d love to do the research for you!” Talk to Mike Pastorelli, our Auto Buying Specialist: mpastorelli@foxcu.org or 920-993-3503.
