Difference between GarDen Maintenance anD Lawn Maintenance

A garden is a space where plants are purposefully grown. So you can have a garden with ornamental plants, flowering plants and shrubs, herbs, vegetables or even large trees. A garden usually surrounds your home and is an important component of your living space. And that's the reason why it is believed that a well-maintained garden adds value to your home. A lawn on the other hand is a space that is planted with grasses. You can use the lawn space as play area for kids or for outdoor relaxation. The grass in a lawn is mowed or cut short to a fixed height to keep it in a good condition. A variety of grasses may be used for lawns. For example, Bermuda grass, bluegrass, fescue or zoysia grass depending on your preference, soil type and climate conditions. A lawn looks and feels like a carpet if it is maintained well. The garden and lawn make up your yard and are closely related. Just like the garden, a well maintained lawn adds beauty and aesthetic appeal to your home while also adding value. Both, the garden and the lawn require regular maintenance to keep them looking their best. Although both are labour-intensive chores, there is a difference between garden maintenance and lawn maintenance in some ways. The manner in which garden maintenance is done differs, to some extent, from lawn maintenance.
