Colour Temperature is the measurement of a light’s colour. The ‘K’ denotes Kelvins which is how colour temperature is measured. The higher the colour temperature, the bluer the light.

Lumens are used as a unit measurement of the amount of light emitted from a light source. See tables inside for specific lumens of each bulb.

3D Technology Many LED designs are ‘2D’. 2D LEDs have a flat surface forcing the light to be emitted in one direction only. This can be a problem with LEDs, as no matter how many other LEDs are added to the lamp in any position, the light distribution may be uneven. Our 3D LEDs are made with a flexible LED beading which can be used to simulate the shape of a standard bulb thus giving an even light distribution. CANbus Technology Using an LED may trigger a bulb failure warning light. This is because LEDs use less power than standard bulbs, which vehicle’s warning systems recognise as a bulb failure. Ring has developed a W5W 501 and a C5W 239 LED which in most cases will avoid triggering a bulb failure warning light. Guarantee We are so confident in our LEDs, we are offering a 5 year guarantee on our Premium range of LEDs and 6 year guarantee on our Performance range. Vibration Resistant As LEDs do not use a filament like a standard bulb, they are far more durable and resistant to vibration. LEDs are for off road or internal use on a vehicle only.
