F:Drive - VRM Search From the 1st December 2011 a new VRM search functionality will be launched and available to all users of the F:Drive.
Details •
The functionality will work on a pay-per-credit basis.

Each search will use a single credit.
•
A credit will cost 8 pence (+VAT).
•
Customers will buy VRM credits on the F:Drive like they would any other part number & will be invoiced accordingly.
Credit Allocations •
Each child/sub account will hold it’s own allocation of credits.
•
Every F:Drive login ID for that account will have access to buy and use the credits against their account allocation.
Credit Usage •
If multiple user IDs on the same child account perform identical VRM searches on the same day only one credit will be used from the account allocation.

If no data is returned i.e. if they type an incorrect VRM, no credits will be used.

The Process Once activated the VRM search will be available on the left hand menu on the F:Drive parts page.

The customer types the VRM in this field & then clicks ‘find Vehicle’

When the buy credits link is clicked the following window opens. The customer can then enter the required amount of credits and click add to basket The details are passed to the F:Drive basket just like a usual part order, where the customer will need to click proceed with order to purchase the credits

The user can then use the product groups to find the relevant part. NB. The Vehicle search will only bring back products that are supplied by FPS
