Francesca Pollet of Cleveland was born and raised in Italy, where the country’s rich history and picturesque landscapes instilled a deep appreciation for culture and communication. Her passion for languages led her to pursue a degree in Foreign Languages at the University of Venice, where she gained a strong foundation in linguistics and cross-cultural understanding. During her university years, Francesca worked as a swimming instructor and lifeguard. These roles fueled her love for water sports and taught her essential life skills like discipline, responsibility, and leadership. Balancing work and academics helped her develop a strong sense of time management and organization, setting the stage for her future career. After completing her degree, Francesca moved to Amsterdam, where she worked as an au pair. Living in the Netherlands allowed her to immerse herself in Dutch culture and further expand her language skills. This experience deepened her understanding of the importance of communication in fostering connections between people from different backgrounds, and it reinforced her belief in the value of cultural exchange. Upon returning to Italy, Francesca began her professional journey in the eyewear industry. She started as an account manager, eventually advancing to a sales manager role. In these positions, Francesca managed client relationships, understood market dynamics, and ensured customer satisfaction. Her ability to communicate effectively and build rapport with people was critical to her success. In 2010, Francesca’s personal life changed when she married her American husband and relocated to California. The following year, they welcomed their son into the world, a joyful moment that brought a renewed sense of purpose to her life. Francesca dedicated herself to raising her family while also becoming actively involved in her community.
