OUR HISTORY
Storia Fondato negli anni ‘30 a Montegranaro (FM), nel più importante distretto calzaturiero d’Italia, da Adelio Franceschetti, il calzaturificio Franceschetti realizza da sempre un prodotto di altissima gamma, principalmente in cuoio e caratterizzato da cucitura Blake Rapid, fresatura a mano, tamponature e colorazioni dei pellami realizzate anch’esse a mano. Una storia fatta di amore, competenza e dedizione per un lavoro che si tramanda da quattro generazioni, con una naturale propensione verso l’eccellenza e la massima cura di ogni dettaglio.

Adelio Frranceschetti founded the company in the 1930s in Montegranaro (located in Fermo and the Italian province of Marche), which is part of the most important footwear district in Italy. The Franceschetti shoe factory has always produced items of the highest quality, mainly in leather, and featuring Blake Rapid stitching and hand trimming and finishing. Colouration of the hides is also carried out by hand. A story of love, skill and dedication to a job that has been handed down through four generations, along with a natural instinct for excellence and attention to every detail.

Lavorazioni Prima di arrivare nei negozi, una scarpa Franceschetti passa in media attraverso 200 operazioni artigianali. In quasi tutti i casi il metodo di cucitura utilizzato è il tradizionale Blake Rapid.
Before it hits the store, a Franceschetti shoe undergoes 200 artisanal crafting steps on average. In almost all cases, the stitching method used is the traditional Blake Rapid one.
La cucitura “Blake” unisce la prima suola o ”intersuola” al sottopiede in cuoio e alla tomaia e resta ben visibile all’interno della calzatura.

La “Rapid” invece cuce la seconda suola di cuoio o di gomma all’intersuola. Se la scarpa ha il guardolo, cuce anche quello. La cucitura resta ben visibile sia sul guardolo che sul fondo. Il sistema “Blake Rapid” regala alla calzatura la migliore impermeabilità possibile all’acqua, la maggiore durata del fondo e l’opportunità di essere risuolata.
The “Rapid” step, however, stitches the second sole in leather or rubber to the midsole. If the shoe has a welt, it stitches that too. The stitching is clearly visible on both the welt and the bottom. The “Blake Rapid” system gives the shoe the greatest possible waterproofing, the longest sole life and the possibility of being resoled.

When art and craftsmanship meet history is made, such as the handpainted collection where the shoes are really painted by hand as if they were real works of art.. Finely painted with a brush, using a method entirely manual and featuring repeat applications of multiple shades of colour, all the shoes from this collection are unique and exclusive. The hides used, technically called crusts, are naturalcoloured calfskin, carefully handpainted with the utmost precision.
