“ Per fare una piramide non serve un architetto, basta un faraone” “To build a pyramid you don’t need an architect, but a pharaoh”

In class at elementary school, when the other kids were watching slides I used to think about the projector’s way of working. When they were writing, I used to draw. I must admit that I get distract very easily. I believe that everything is interesting in its way, therefor I always move my attention from one thing to another. This is a peculiarity that I also show in my projects: the starting idea is often enlarged with other thoughts which seem a different matter at the beginning, but are in accord in the final result. I think that my biggest quality is to get distracted to enrich, to join my dues to the thousand things that lure me. Transforming chaos into harmony.

Profile Skilful in illustration and hand drawing. Determined, perseverant, watchful and curious. I am very precise in what I am working on. For my projects, I learned not to stop at the first result and to go on working until I reached an higher level. I have never chosen the first solution, but I have always tried to get further.

I’m not here

A Missoni Project

2018

David Hockney’s painting evoke an apparent calm, which hides the blue feelings of the subjects. Here takes birth “I’m not here”, a men ready-to-wear collection for italian brand Missoni. Her protagonist is a man unrelated to his peaceful environment. He dresses up with a retro style clothing with unmatched colours. Mistakes and interruptions in patterns are the leitmotif of this project.

Sportmax

2017

We had to design a fall winter collection for the italian brand “Sportmax”. For the project of these outfit coherent with the company’s style, we took inspiration from Sally Potter’s movie Orlando. After we studied the image and target of the brand, we analized the movie thinking about some possible interpretation of its pictures. In the end, we sketched the outfits, choosing patterns and materials.

K.I.T.

2017

In the future the abuse of digital tools will cause addiction phenomenon to certain subjects. There will probably be a therapist able to cure them, making them re-discover their five senses to get in touch again with other humans and nature. “K.I.T. is a medical white coat made for this special doctor. A naive aesthetic is a peculiarity of this item, aimed to distract the patient from a mathematical and synthetic world.

The project presentation’s book was full of drawings aimed to illustrate efficiently K.I.T.’s technical innovation.

Paper Tiger

Print Studio

2018

Paper Tiger is a capsule collection designed for “Ghioldi (Textile Manufacturer). It was born after a reflection on animalier print. In first place, there has been a textile research to give it a 3D sense, either with the use of the fabric printing or without it. Then animalier motifs have been minimalized to make them look like an abstract composition, in order to gain that part of customers that never liked the classic leopard or tiger motifs. In conclusion, it has followed the project of the collection and the realization of an outfit.

Animalier Minimale.

Both the dress and the skirt has been printed. Due to the 3D aspect of the fabrics, the design results interrupted.

La Regola e il Caso

Workshop Ghioldi

2018

“Rule and chaos are opposites […] Rule gives you stability […] Chaos is the unforeseen”. These words of italian designer Bruno Munari are the inspiration behind the workshop with “Ghioldi”. If the rule is the proper use of the knitting machine, chaos consists in disobeing it. Working in this way, out of a simple jacquard punchcard you can create a knit with pattern distortions and creases.

Workshop Filmar

2018

The workshop’s aim was to create a new product made with FILOSCOZIA® Filmar’s yarn, and an efficient ad campaign. It has born a capsule collection of knit apparel and accessories painted with CMYK colours (cyan, magenta, yellow and black). A video has then been realized, which portraits a model, dressed up in a white outfit, taking a shower of paint.

Johann Sebastian Bar

Reportage

2017

Angelique and Jean-Paul run “Al 113 Johann Sebastian Bar”, an eccentric Milanese bar near Naviglio Grande. These two, as unique as their bar, has lived in their youth a short but intense musical career. Their passion for music is the real heart of this place, famous in all the city for it’s wild karaoke nights.
