The Stuttgart Main Train Station is the most famous work of the german architect Paul Bonatz not only for the architectural quality and modernity of the building but also for his role in the city. The thesis focused in the first part on the comprehension of the building through archive and bibliographical research, metrical relief and redrawing of the first constrction. The city itself has been analyzed in all its contests (natual, infrastructural, historical, regional etc.) and the relationship between the Station and the urban contest has been highlighted. The study of the city and the building led to the second phase which consist in the project.
