Participants will learn the basic progressions of various Olympic lifts, including the Snatch and the Clean and Jerk.

Sport Clubs About UNL Sport Clubs Recognized Student Organizations Sport Clubs are comprised of individuals with a desire to compete or participate in a sport throughout their college careers and exist to develop students’ skills, dedication and interest for specific sports. Each club’s level of activity is unique and ranges from regional to national intercollegiate competition. Sport Clubs continue to grow primarily due to strong student leadership, which is just one of a variety of life skills that students can develop through their participation with Campus Recreation. Each club is represented on the UNL Sport Clubs Council and is a member of a recognized National Governing Sport Body.
How to Join a Team All currently enrolled University of Nebraska–Lincoln students are eligible to join a sport club. Faculty/Staff or those with secondary memberships to Campus Recreation are also eligible for membership. However, each sport’s national governing body may have membership restrictions that supersede the above mentioned requirements.

Jr. Blackshirts™ Football Game Day Camp Ages 2–12
Itty Bitty Sports
During home football games, UNL Campus Rec will provide recreational activities in a child care setting. The program is located in the Campus Rec Center, one block east of Memorial Stadium. Children 2-12 years of age are welcome to attend while their parents/guardians attend the Husker football game.
A nationally-recognized sports program, the Start Smart programs offered by Campus Recreation will introduce your 3–5-year-old the wide world of sports. Tasks involving basic motor skills help build your child’s confidence and self-esteem. The environment of this program offers children a positive experience early in their sports exposure and will help to prepare them to play sports in the future. Emphasis on winning is minimal and this program allows your child to progress at an individual rate while still offering challenging skills.
Children will have a choice of activities in which they would like to participate. Age appropriate toys and games are provided. Swimming is available for those participants 6–12 years of age.
• Relays & Games • Movies • Crafts • Board Games • Parachute games
• Basketball • Football • Soccer • Volleyball • Badminton
