Meal prep saves time and your waistline! The first day, make Grab & Go Veggie Cups and Taco Dip to-go for those midday munchies. On day two, you’ll take home two simple Teriyaki Stir-Fry Bowls we make in class for a quick (+ nutritious) lunch. Fuel Your Fitness + Workout

Nutrition and exercise are an unstoppable combo for losing weight. What you eat before and after each workout can affect your results. Make a pre-workout snack, join us for a bootcamp-style workout, and finish by refueling with a post workout snack. Eat both snacks today, or take with you for a boost later in the week! Build a Healthy Lunchbox

Join the “bringer” movement and save thousands of dollars each year by packing your own weekday lunches. We’ll get you started by helping you plan your lunchbox (+ give you one!) Today’s lunch is covered: we’ll make and enjoy a Southwest Hummus Wrap (vegetarian option available) and taste Frozen Fruit Cups. Lasagna Roll-Ups

Calling all over-scheduled, harried home chefs! Add a delicious meal to your arsenal that’s done in half an hour– quicker than ordering take-out. We’ll make Lasagna RollUps in class and send you home with a quick dish your family will love. In-Tents Cooking

Throw out the hotdogs and potato chips - you can dine better on your next camping trip. We’ll meet up with the experts at Outdoor Adventures to explore different cooking tools and methods to create enticing outdoor meals. Menu includes dutch oven chicken + rice, cinnamon apple pie, dutch oven cornbread, and tempeh bean tortilla casserole (tempeh is an Indonesian soy food similar to tofu). Tuesday, April 11 | 5-6 p.m. Rec & Wellness Center, Wellness Kitchen $15 Student or CREC member | $20 General Public

Host an Event! You supply the ingredients, we supply the location. The Wellness Kitchen is the perfect spot to host your next party or event. Reserve the Wellness Kitchen a minimum of two weeks prior to your event by contacting Amanda at 402-472-0880. Rental includes access to the space and all equipment, as well as a kitchen supervisor. $14/hour + $50 nonrefundable deposit
