SEA RIDGE 5310 is a two-story suburban house with a sustainable design approach located in La Jolla, San Diego. The residence has spectacular views of the sea with southern exposure. A linear corridor and the programmed outdoor activities extend the living experience toward the ocean.
The main features are 1) a second layer of the skin applied as a shading strategy, 2) transition spaces connecting the residents to the nature and blurring the line between interior and exterior, and 3) maximized flexibility of openings by freeing the walls of columns.

RESTAURANT GROUND LEVEL No-rush culture, looking for a place to settle down and hanging out with family and friends A liner fireplace and vertical garden were designed in one piece as the main features and surrounded by dining areas
LOUNGE CELLAR LEVEL Represented the night life of New York. It’s rushed, crowded, and overwhelming. Screens constantly display information and take over people A large floor-to-ceiling glass brick wall with LED and motion sensors will catch movement and create silhouette and lighting effects

RE-FOLDING THE SKIN TO MAKE A STRUCTURE FOR PROVIDING A SOCIAL SPACE
Aroma Tapered Package Rough Texture Eco-friendly
Zongzi is a traditional Chinese food made with sticky rice and other tasty ingredients wrapped in bamboo leaves in tapered shape. “Bao Zongzi”in Mandarin means successful and makes Zongzi as a food with blessing This exhibition features bamboo leaves as the primary material applied on the shelter. The slightly rough texture, smell, and ecofriendly nature make it an excellent choice for building a lightweight shelter. This material is strong enough to weave either wet or dry
