This is an open talent competition open to anyone 18 years or younger, who identifies as Aboriginal, self-identified (aboriginal) or Metis. All talent show registrations must be received by Stó:lō Nation Health Services no later than: July 25, 2014 to be eligible. CONTEST RULES & ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA 1. All contestants must be 18 years and under on the date of August 14, 2014. 2. All participants must be good role models. 3. Any applicants submitted with inaccurate or misleading information will be voided. 4. Due to the time constraints, the number of applicant entries shall be limited to 10 entries. 5. All contestants will be allotted one minute setup time then a maximum of 5 minutes to perform. 6. No profanity or vulgar lyrics in the vocal performances or dance music will be permitted. Remember, this is a family show! 7. Judging will be based on Overall Performance, Audience Response, Stage Appearance, Originality and Stage Presence. DISCLAIMER: Pre-Auditions will be held pending the number of applicants. Prizes will be split for group entries that place 1st, 2nd, or 3rd. All participants agree that any photos or recordings taken during the competition become property of Stó:lō Nation and may be used in future promotions, advertising, and more.
