The Firm was licensed and registered with the Corporate Affairs Commission in 2019 and is also registered with the Council of Mining Engineers and Geoscientist (COMEG) The firm specializes in Geo-science exploration, using different methods of Geology and Geophysical Methods as well as Mining. A PROPOSAL TAILORED TO MEET EXPLORATION AND MINING NEEDS Based on our understanding of the needs in the mining industry, you require an experienced and reputable exploration company to assist in establishing the true state of mineral deposition around the country as well as to evaluate the value of the minerals as we turn them to assets. A lot of Mining companies boast of their mining licenses as their assets and keep going around cycles in the country as we keep our Mining Sectors Undeveloped. We believe that the basic challenges are that we lack exploration equipment as well as we circumnavigate the due process of exploration due to cost.

BACKGROUND Nigeria is endowed with vast reserves of solid minerals, including, but not limited to, precious metals, stones and industrial minerals. The country was a major exporter of tin, columbite and coal in the early 1970s. However, activities in this sector nose-dived considerably when crude oil production began to take the centre stage, and became a major source of foreign exchange for the country. With the return to democracy in 1999, the need to diversify the revenue base of the country became paramount. A new national focus and strategy on mining evolved such that in 2007, the Nigerian Minerals and Mining Act (the Act) was enacted to revitalize the Nigerian mining industry. There are over 40 different types of minerals spread across the country, including gold, barite, bentonite, limestone, coal, bitumen, iron ore, tantalite/columbite, lead/zinc, barites, gemstones, granite, marble, gypsum, talc, iron ore, lead, lithium, silver, etc. However, not all the minerals are available in commercial quantities. The Nigerian mining industry is set for significant long-term growth, as it is currently largely untapped

echnical Approach and Methodology
In this chapter, we will explain the steps we employ to carry out the activities of geophysical investigation and obtaining the expected outputs within the overarching aim of any project. We shall state and explain the various techniques we will employ: To determine the environmental factors and physical geology of the geographical locations of proposed deposits at the study area. Response
Determining the environmental factors and physical geology will be undertaken with:
1. Adequate knowledge of the local geology which will be a guide for knowing areas of interest and guide the interpretation of acquired data,
2. Good understanding of the physical attributes of the mineral to guide the choice of geophysical method,
3. Reconnaissance study of the given study area. These involves: a. Aeromagnetic map analysis of the given area to determine factors that affect the formation of mineral deposits such as depth to
Basement, lineaments, intrusives, magnetic intensity anomalies, etc.
b. Detailed geological field mapping exercises will be carried out by a team of geologists who will check out for points of observations such as well cuttings, pits and outcrops along road cuts, rivers, valleys etc. Rock samples will be collected and earmarked with name tags. Also, GPS coordinates taken to mark points of interest.
4. Hands-on skills in operating the machines and technical know-how of appropriate field techniques to employ for the prevailing conditions observed in 1, 2 and 3.
5. Geochemical analysis of stream sediments, rock samples acquired and soil samples. Xray fluorescence (XRF) is often more appropriate for many geological materials where total elemental analysis is required. These types of sample are often difficult to take in solution in a matrix suitable for analysis by ICP (Inductively Coupled Plasma Atomic Emission Spectroscopy (ICP-AES) or Inductively Coupled Plasma Mass Spectrometry (ICP-MS)), so XRF analysis is more appropriate when it is important to know true total elemental concentrations.

appropriate methods:
Electrical (Res., IP and SP), Electromagnetic, Ground Magnetic, Gravity method and Magnetotellurics methods. This is the most important technical step that must comprise every geological investigation. It is a non-invasive study of the subsurface using tools that are sensitive or susceptible to the various physical parameters of earth materials and looking out for anomalies.
2. Analysis and interpretation of acquired field data using relevant desktop tools such as: a. Electrical
datasets:
Winresist,
IP2win,
Res2dInv,
Res3dInv,
EarthImager, Excel and Surfer.
b. Gravity Datasets: Oasis Montaj, Surfer and MS-Excel c. EM and Magnetic Datasets: Oasis Montaj, Surfer, and MS-Excel. 3. Invasive investigation methods such as core drilling, or a more economical substitute, pulverized drilling, pitting, and trenching follows after the geophysical results has revealed leads and prospects. When drilling is carried out for the purpose of confirming geophysical findings it is known as Exploratory Drilling. This is done in the areas marked by the geophysicists who processed and interpreted the acquired data.
4. Integration of Elevation data, ERT lines, MI data and well log data to produce 2D and 3D models will be carried out for better understanding of the big picture and Reserve estimate carried out using modern complex statistical algorithms effective for complex deposits.
ork plan
In this chapter, we shall discuss the whole activities of a geophysical investigation project, and duration of the milestones to be reached. With reference to the key tasks to be undertaken please refer to Figure 1 below (the flow chart of integrated geological and geophysical investigation). As with the previous chapter, we reproduce each Task as given in the TOR, and give our response to each directly beneath each one, providing anticipated task begin date relative to the beginning of the consultancy period of performance (PoP) and duration. These tasks are: TASK 1: ENGAGEMENT AND INTERACTION WITH HOST COMMUNITIES Response: Through our years of experience in field surveys and mineral exploration team across the nation we understand the importance of familiarization with host communities. Proper introduction with host community settlers, land owners, Village chiefs and elders. Given the socio-cultural inclination of this part of the country this must be settled before any deployment of teams in a stranger’s land. Duration/start date: …….
Figure 1: Summarized Flowchart for Work Plan.
TASK 2: GEOLOGICAL MAPPING Response: Our team of geologists will map the study area using the coordinate system (longitudes and Latitudes) georeferencing tools for partitioning the areas and high resolution sampling of points of observations. Equipped with GPS gadgets, Geological compasses, hammers, sample bags, cameras and field notes they will acquire all geological information needed to make a geological map of the area of interest Duration/start date: 1 week beginning week 1 of PoP.
TASK 3: SAMPLING AND GEOCHEMICAL ANALYSIS OF STREAM SEDIMENTS, ROCK SAMPLES ACQUIRED AND SOIL SAMPLES. Response: Samples are taken to laboratory where XRF analysis is carried out. In situ rock samples of gypsum will guide the team in planning the extent of further analysis. Duration/start date: ……..
TASK 4: ANALYSIS OF MINERAL DEPOSITS. (INTEGRATED GEOPHYSICAL INVESTIGATION) Response: Acquisition of geophysical data is vital to the success of any exploratory project. Our team of geologists has technical experience delineating mineral ore bodies and other deposits across the country. Given favorable weather conditions as is expected within this geographical location and its climatic condition, and conflict free conditions, the entire field survey processes will be completed in due time. Duration/start date: …….
Task 5: Drilling, Trenching and Analysis (Invasive investigation methods - core drilling, pulverized drilling, pitting, and trenching)
Response: The result acquired prior to exploratory drilling guides its planning. With Prospects and leads delineated, we mobilise our drilling crew who carry out the final point of observation analysis of the proposed leads by coring. Trenching and pitting will be preferable for shallow findings and hence, cutting cost considerably. A minimal sampling rate of 1 hole per 100m2 is sufficient to analyse the lateral continuity, thickness, depth, quality and hence, reserve estimate. Duration/start date: ….. TASK 6: REPORTING WRITING Response: The report will be prepared and the results interpreted and compiled for the client perusal. Detailed illustrations using graphical models generated using several modelling software and GIS tools will be replete within the report for easy understanding. Duration/start date: ….
