----redesign of dehumidifier
Idea My topic is water-rscycling. In the beginning ,I ttry to find out which kind of water can be recycled. Some of them may be produced from our daily use. Some are accessible but not utilized sufficiently Then, I come out of a graphic. I realize that a dehumidifer contains a lot of water that is mostly dumped. The shape of the tank makes it hard for us to use the water inside .Thus , I try to find out a solution to this problem.
Product Sketch The water tank is designed into the shape of a water sprayer. A functional and user-friendly water tank makes it easier for us to recycle the water inside. The way we hold the tank is changed. The handle is designed in inner side .There is a transparent acrylic sheet so that we can check how much water is left inside .We can also switch between different modes ,by spinning the upper lid.

Model making I replaced the origimal cover of dehumidifier with one that look like water tank. At the same time, I saved the inner acceddories to remain the integrity of the dehumidifier. I plugged it and it operated successfully. Unfurtunately it seemed that it didin't dehinidify well. Maybe it was because the airflow inside was changed .Yet withouta doubt, it is a presious expenence for me.

Although Lego bricks are generally viewed as toy, they can actually be use to present the structure of many designed projects. Moreover, the Minstormes NXT---a programmable robotics kit released by LEGO in 2006 ---allows consumer to decide on the structure .After linked with a motor and sensors, NXT can run according to the written program. Then, can the concept be further applied to design?
Discussion/Inspiration Mechanical structure helps us solve many problems in real life. However the fixed structure not seems that convenient at times. For example, chances are that a physically challenged person cannot move the weelchair without others' help. It is mainly because the structure of a common wheelchair is fixed. To solve the problem,we designed a electric whhelchair, which can be remote controlled by smart phones. What's more the seat can serve as a bed and the height can be adjusted as well. With this wheelchair the physically disable can move to their bed by themselves.
From/Idea/3D present
The style of our wheelchair resembles that of the sci-fi movie <Tron:Legacy>. The railings can be pulled down as support.
Model
We ended up using 2 NXTcomputers and 6 motors to design the model that supported all functions. The modle is equppied with bluetooth so that it can be remoted by smartphones. We hope it can be a high-tech product. it is aimed to help the older who live alone and physically disable.

Expore Due to the extreme weather, summer heat has set several high temperature records these years. However, global warming gets more severe if we turn on air conditioners more often. A question thus becomes crucial: how to lower indoor temperature efficiently? Among different types of environment, we aim at office. In an office, heat mainly comes from computer cases and sunshine. Walls also influence air circulation. These are some reasons why offices are often humid. The best way to keep an office cool without making a big change on structure and arrangement is add something that cool down the environment effectively.
Planting some plants on the roof helps a lot. It prevents roof from being exposed to the sun directly. When watering, some heat will be taken away as well. We manage to use DYSON fan (without flabellum) as main convection device. It is composed of modularized squares. They pile together and become plant partitions. The walls thus improve rather than harm air circulation.
Inspriation We take several shapes, such as hexagon, triangle and tetragon into consideration. Where to place the motor and the water flow is important too. Water and electric current should be well separated into different modeles. Moreover, the size of the vent and the way how to conbine the square are considered.

The motor of the fan compresses the air into the squares. The air flow pushes the surrounding air forward when passing through the hole. The wind doesnâ&#x20AC;&#x2122;t have to be strong. A weak flow can improve the circulation well if cooperating with other modles.
There are flower pots for tiny plants in the middle of the water squares. With the pipes inside, the water can be drained away into a transparent fillister below. The fillister is designed a little tipsy so that we can see how much water is inside.

Summer Internship Works Guang-han Ltd. G-HG good hous goods
G-HG good house goods/ Guang-Han Ltd. I had an internship expenience in the design department in GuangHan aluminim factory in summer 2014. The company set a brand in department store.As a result, I also participated in part of the product design . Guang-Han Ltd. specialized in aluminum processing.The products are mainly ironware alumin doors and windows, Recently a design department is set up. The company hopes to explore new marketing methods.
Product Design One of the best advantages an intership in a factory brings me is that I can participate in a complete processing procedure.I help them when they set a counter in ShinKong Mitsukossssshi. G-HG is the name of the brand . It aims at air refreshel. During me interning I basically helped design the package of the products. To make good use of the adventage of the factory , which have to cooperate with the manufacturer well.
Major products Caot-hanger essential oil/Essential oil frame There are still other products without being mass production. The products are made of aluminum and wood. I try to make them simple but functional .
Counter Setting The first counter is set in Shin-Kong Mitsukoshi in Xi-Men Rd. To show a sense of nature an purity, the counter is decorate with grass and wood. The light from underside makes it even more elaborate.That was the first time for me to enter a department store after it close. The experence is very unigue. Thanks to the internship experence, I got a chance to see so many product processing and coordinate with the manufaturor .
