Mamma Mia!—fall in love again…

2011 International Tour Cast—Press/Publicity Photos by Brinkhoff/Mögenburg

O

ver fifty million people in 325 cities around the world have fallen in love with the characters, the story and the music that make Mamma Mia! the ultimate feel-good show. An independent, single mother who owns a small hotel on an idyllic Greek island, Donna is about to let go of Sophie, the spirited daughter she’s raised alone. For Sophie’s wedding, Donna has invited her two lifelong best girlfriends—from her one-time backing band, Donna and the Dynamos. But Sophie has secretly invited three guests of her own. On a quest to find the identity of her father to walk her down the aisle, she brings back three men from Donna’s past to the Mediterranean paradise they visited twenty years earlier. ABBA’s songs propel the story over twenty-four chaotic, magical hours as new love blooms and old romances are rekindled. Now in its twelfth year on Broadway, Mamma Mia! is truly a smash hit musical. The show is returning to Detroit for a remarkable sixth return visit! 4

Bringing the timeless lyrics and melodies of iconic super group ABBA to new and returning audiences, Fall 2013 is the season for Mamma Mia! at Broadway In Detroit.

Mamma Mia! will come to the Fisher Theatre for one week only November 5–10. Tickets will go on sale later this summer. Groups of 12+ please reserve now: email Groups@BroadwayIndDetroit.com with Mamma Mia as your subject line or call (313) 871-1132.
