Frank Bagnasco

Frank Bagnasco is the president and CEO of Nasco Aerospace and Electronics LLC. Frank is a well divirest executive with a broad array of experience in electronic component manufacturing, component design, Electrical engineering and distributors.

As CEO, Frank leads the company’s mission to provide quality products, through a network of trusted supply chain partnerships, while providing analytic solutions to the Defense sector, Aerospace industry and many other industries that demand the highest quality while reducing lead time and costs.

Frank attended Farmingdale State College , and started his career in Applications engineering for General Instruments Corporation and later became the President and CEO of Nasco Aerospace and Electronics. He has been the head of Nasco since its inception in September 2001, and continues to grow the company as an authorized parts distributor and trusted suppliers for the DLA Defence Logistic agency. Much of Nasco’s early success has been in the development of Counterfeit Avoidance Process & Policies, the implementation of Supply Chain Solutions. In the early 2000 Frank was instrumental in solving component quality issues, he hired a NASA component engineer and formulated a four tier process to help mitigate suspect components entering the United States. In 2010 Nasco started the aerospace division and soon became a leading supplier to many of the world's largest airlines, MRO and aircraft manufacturers by stocking rotables, expendables, aerospace metals and consumables.

Nasco acquired its new headquarters in st.petersburg florida its facility consists of 13,200 square foot facility, and was built to streamline distribution of products to customers. Its modern ESD electro-sensitive controlled warehouse is also climate-controlled and offers an open floor plan for sale & purchasing with a video training area to help educate the Nasco team on the wide variety of products offered by the company. The headquarters is strategically located in St. Petersburg (HUBZone) Historically Underutilized business zone. The HUBZone program fuels small business growth in historically underutilized business zones with a

goal of awarding at least 3% of federal contract dollars to HUBZone-certified companies each year. levering this certification Nasco soon became an authorized supplier for manufacturers looking to partner with a certified HUBZone distributor, over the years Nasco is pleased to announce its now distributes over 1400 direct authorized manufacturing partnerships, this has helped tremendously with today's supply chain shortages, while avoiding quality issues and offer customers traceability of most products.

Nasco is now one of the top 50 authorized distributors of North America, as seen over the last four years. In 2021, Nasco became one of the top 10 distributors by sales growth. The success of the company is due to its dedication to highly trained partners, managers and employees, who some have been with the company since inception.

The 2018 Electronics Sourcing ranked Nasco in its top 50 North American Report and also listed a Top ten growth rate of 21.4% from the previous year. Nasco was also ranked as a top distributor in the Source Today/ Source ESB 35th anniversary edition of 2019, this compilation of distributors of electronic components is highly publicized in several brands including Electronic Design, Machine Design Source ESB. According to Business Wire, "Nasco Distributor Sales today announced that it has received a 2012 Boeing Performance Excellence Award. The Boeing Company issues the award annually to recognize suppliers who have achieved superior performance. Nasco maintained a silver composite performance rating for each month of the 12-month performance period, from Oct. 1, 2011 to Sept. 30, 2012." This was only the start of Nasco's rise into the competitor they are today. By 2018, the growth of Nasco could no longer be ignored.

This announcement comes just after President Barack Obama's

announcement Thursday (Feb. 11) that he will sign into law a customs bill passed by the U.S. Senate that includes a provision to combat counterfeit semiconductors." This certification helped place Nasco into a top supplier in the industry, as counterfeit products flooded the market. .

In his personal life, Frank Bagnasco is an active cyclist and triathlete. He loves the challenge of pushing himself to the absolute limit of his physical health. He has participated in a number of triathlons for St. Anthony's and Nautica. Triathlons give Frank the ability to train in the water, and on land.

As an avid cyclist and swimmer, triathlons are a natural fit for Frank. He has also been a Tour de Cure American Diabetes Association cyclist, and participates in fundraisers for the cause. For five years he coached baseball in the St. Petersburg Beach little league. He enjoys time spent on the baseball field, and was happy to have the opportunity to coach in the St. Petersburg area.

Frank Bagnasco also enjoys SCUBA in his free time. He enjoys the water so much that he is also an advanced spear fishing enthusiast. The challenge of being in the water and spear fishing, brings out the competitor within. He is always working hard to push himself in business, and in his personal life.
