MISSION STAIR Linking the five floors is this centralized Mission stair, symbolic of the passage referenced in John 15:5-8 - “I am the vine you are the branches”. Tying the building and community together and forming the center piece of the ‘collaborative hub,’ the stair becomes this contiguous place to mix people and ideas while connecting back to the Adventist mission.

COMMUNITY EMBRACE Bringing together nearly 1,300 employees from 22 different office locations and dozens of remote locations, the design unifies the Adventist culture of family and community. The overall design goal was to establish a “Sphere of Influence” at the individual, campus, community and system level.

GARDENS This symbolic oak tree located at the entrance represents the intersection of crosses focused on and rooted in physical, social, mental and spiritual health. The exterior gardens located throughout the campus aim to provide spiritual health through water features, outdoor dining areas, meeting spaces and thoughtfully curated paths, including a one-mile walking and biking trail.

SHARED FAITH The subtle integration of biblical text is integrated across the campus through branded graphics and custom-crafted sculptures, helping to share the Christian faith with all. In addition, the conferencing center is also designed to serve as a chapel to allow employees and guests to come together for worship.
