Open up Adobe Photoshop Next, go to File, Open and open the image from where it is located. Zoom in so that you can make see the photo well enough to work on it If it is your preference, you may also work on a duplicate layer of the original copy. To do this, go to Layer (top of the screen) and then go scroll down to Duplicate Layer. Press ok when the pop up box appears. Go to the side and click on the icon that looks like a Band-Aid. Right click on the Band-Aid and go click Spot Healing Brush Tool. Go to the top where there is dot and number underneath. Change the size (px) to whatever you believe will fit your purposes (a smaller size is better, maybe around 10 – 20 px). Click on the tattoo (one spot at a time) and the brush will fill in what is being taken out (skin color will replace tattoo). If the image still has dark spots that aren’t normal, go to the Healing Brush Tool. Click on the dark spots using the Healing Brush Tool until there are no dark spots left. Save your edited image.
