The Sweet Beginning Hover ? The development of car design has reached to a peak. Without brand new breakthrough, products on the market seem to be more and more alike, even boring. -Therefore, we need to think further.

In 2050, due to the sun illumination in day time, water evaporates and the ground cracks. But the land freezes at night with no sunshine. Present cars with wheels can no longer travel in the extreme climate.

Study and Research
The Coanda effect is the tendency of a fluid jet to be attracted to a nearby surface. The principle was named after Romanian aerodynamics pioneer Henri Coanda, who was the first to recognize the practical application of the phenomenon in aircraft development.
Coanda Effect Ground Effect Hover Craft And ground effect is the increased lift (force) and decreased Aerodynamic drag that an aircraft's wings generate when they are close to a fixed surface.
A hovercraft is capable of travelling over land, water, mud or ice and other surfaces. Hovercraft use blowers to produce a large volume of air below the hull that is slightly above atmospheric pressure. The pressure difference between the higher pressure air below the hull and lower pressure ambient air above it produces lift, which causes the hull to float above the running surface.

PREASURE WIND SHADE
We d e s i g n e d f i v e d i f f e re n t w i n d s h a d e s i n e x t e n s i o n . We m a d e them into the same height, but different lines of shape to figure out what are the differences. We noticed that wind shade 1 and 2 had better effects. We combined the strong points of both wind shades to become the specifications inside our chassis. Shade 1 made the highest hover, we used it with EDF motos at the middle of our chassis. While shade 2 hovered the height to the second place but had a much better stability. We made it at the outer side of the chassis with propellers to stable the body and maintain the height.
To have a larger torque, we seeked for six-leaf propellers. However, it is hard to find one on the market. We even hand craf ted the propellers by ourselves to ensure they can produce richer energy and the best consequences.
Development We had drawn lots of sketches and proposal and voted for which kind of style we wanted to use. Then after revised for each decision, we made clay model. We made our final decision after two months of clay modelling and design revises to make sure evreything is perfect.
In our opinion, drivers need more view from outside while hovering than driving on the road, and don’t want the view to be blocked by front pillar. So we designed a large area of windshield to bring wide view to driver.
There are no friction when a car is hovering. It spends less energy while moving. And also has less parts on structure which makes a car simpler. Moreover, the amazing quality of terrain adaption makes hover car become the trend of future.
Define our design
We seeked for the answer of how a hover car should look like?
A Car Is What People Really Need . We designed our vehicle to be more like a car to make it come closer to our life instead of letting people imagine themselves piloting an airplane or even a hovercraft which might lose public assurance. However, we still put new ideas and creativities in our design to make it more futuristic.
Innovation is still the most important element ! The definition of our car is elegant and quick. Therefore, we integrate bionic design of gazelle. We use lines of gazelle on our exterior design. We combine the techniques of current drones and the technology of hovercraft, ground effect vehicle and Coanda effect and so on. With the method of design, the efficiency of hovering increases which makes the airflow smoother.
Gazelle needs a large amount of airflow, in addition to the front and rear inlet, we also set inlet right above our motors to let the air inhaled directly into the propeller. Due to the Coanda effect that we use on our body design, the airflow goes into the inlet along the bodyside and brings the air around the car inhaled into the chamber together which makes the motor reach its best efficacy.
Brand positioning
We combined two elements in our logo
Gazelle is an animal with extraordinary terrain accommodation. Also it moves sensitively with its beautiful streamlined body shape which makes it become our design concept.
design, "gazelle" and
The name gazelle comes from the Persian which means "elegant and quick". Moreover, we suppose our product will give people impression of stingray while it hovers. We use these elements to create a brand new future vehicle.
has a wing-like shape
Unique and entertaining The emphasis of our design is "unique" and "entertaining". Hence, we targeted the customer who is young, values self-worth and wants to be cool. We set our vehicle to be a two-seater, such like the pleasure and the freshness that a super car may bring to a driver.
"stingray", to make it and also full of speed.

The Amazing Result We were the focus spot of the whole exhibition. Our booth was always full of p e o p l e d u e t o t h e re p u t a t i o n spread trough the internet. We star ted our motors and made it hover which caught ever yone's eye. Lots of people came all away just to see our work , listened to our introduction in details and had great discussions with us. It is now placed at the show room of Industrail Design department in Ta t u n g U n i v e r s i t y.
chassis and control Because we seperated our chassis into two parts, we fasten them with carbon fiber board on each side. Then we strengthened the structure by aluminum board. The chassis had become even stronger after we tightened the wind shades up.

We scanned our modelling clay and made section of our car through 3D software. Then cut styrofoam into pieces to put into the section, and started to abrade the surface to make details. Some places needed to be mended during the making process, we bought polyurethane foam . Fianally, we cover fiber glass on after making sure of bilateral symmetry of our exterior to make the shell of our car.

Development
With the requirement in sense of speed, I drew a power ful line to be the main idea across the whole design. I pulled out several simple and beautiful cur ves, combined them with three-dimensional pattern in order to build great tension of speed.

The paint and the clear coat are so meticulous that my speed form has per fect reflections which t a ke s s o m u c h t i m e c r a f t i n g . I l e a r n e d a l o t f r o m the manufacturing and design process.

I took reference from Russian Jet, such as SU-37, their body shapes are so unique. They have curve angle at the front, and more elegant lines. Then I combined the wings with delta wings, to create a bigger surface. A better flying quality is produced by mixing the advantures from the dynamics of delta wings and the stability of normal wings. I designed a single inlet and a single vent to concentrate the power and make bigger pressure on pushing, which was inspired by F-16. I want my design to be simple.

Short-range commuting Our goal is to reduce the complexity of the vehicle. In a more specific way, to reduce parts. The vehicle is composed of only two parts. The upper part is a whole transparent shell that provides all-round visibility. The bottom is the base. Besides simplify only the mechanism of the vehicle, we would like to make the buyer’s life easier as well.

Design
process
I decided to use square and triangle to form my design. Finally an idea of leaves came up to me.
I started with the triangle shape. Added, cut and mixed with other shapes.
Design concept I believe design should be combined with nature and be a part of nature. That's how a product stays classic. So I took all of my inspirations, shapes as long as colors from the mother earth and created a series of products which is simple, natural and beautiful.
Ref-Tower I used reflection as my concept to design a fully functional speaker with the combination of different materials and unique shape.
I u s e d t h e r e f l e c t i o n t o m a ke a r r a n g e m e n t of speaker units inside, to create a more realistic sound field. The sound comes out from behind and both sides with great per formance on three-dimensioning.
