BE YOUR BEST SELF AT

DON’T JUST BE A NUMBER,

BE A NAME. At Franklin College, you’re exactly that. Here an average class size of 15 means roll call is a one-time occurrence. It means you wear a number on your jersey, but are cheered on by name. And that you can publish research, secure internships and travel the world for college credit, ALL WHILE LEARNING THROUGH LEADERSHIP, PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT AND SERVICE.

Since 1980, 85% of Franklin College students who applied to medical school were admitted.

At Franklin College, we believe in the beauty of a liberal arts education — an interdisciplinary approach in which creative writers spend time in chemistry labs and business majors have roles in theatre productions. This belief stems from a passion to prepare you for a career — and for the world. So while you’re exploring your course of study, we’ll be giving you the tools you need — and inspiring you to do the things you never thought you could. PROGRAMS

DON’T JUST BE A COMMUNITY MEMBER, BE A PHILANTHROPIST. With a student body of just over 1,000, being a Franklin student and community member go hand in hand, but what sets our students apart is how they choose to give back. Some students are active in service programs like Habitat for Humanity and Best Buddies while others entertain and inform with their campus radio shows and newspaper articles. Still, others are officers of Student Congress and Greek organizations. With more than 50 student organizations, we’re sure there’s something for you. If not, we’ll help you start something new! That’s the kind of college this is. JUST A FEW OF THE WAYS OUR STUDENTS GIVE BACK: • Greek Life (four fraternities, three sororities)

Franklin students can choose a month-long Winter Term course, a semester or year abroad or an international internship experience during the summer.

DON’T JUST BE A WORLD TRAVELER,

BE A REVOLUTIONARY. At Franklin College, students can learn just as much outside the classroom as in. For this reason, we have a month-long Winter Term specifically devoted to promoting a global perspective. Some students develop this worldly point-of-view by literally traveling the world (opportunities exist in 6 out of 7 continents to be exact!). Others do so by completing internships or partnering with faculty members on research projects, subsequently presenting their findings at state and national conferences. With a whopping 100% of Franklin students participating in at least one internship or research project and a large percentage studying away, it’s no wonder 95% of our students are employed or in graduate school within six months of graduation —now that’s the way to make a name for yourself!
