Greetings, Franklin College alumni and friends!
As Thanksgiving approaches, I want to express my sincere gratitude to the many alumni, friends and corporate partners whose generosity this year has made possible innumerable opportunities for our talented students. Your support sustains the mission of Franklin College and genuinely transforms the lives of those students.
Your philanthropy provides resources for the immersive experiences that distinguish Franklin College as a leader in engaged learning. It has helped build the leading digital fluency program among small colleges in Indiana, embedding tech proficiency as an indispensable aspect of liberal arts education. And it has enhanced many co-curricular opportunities that together make the four-year, residential experience the most well-rounded and fulfilling college education.
You have funded millions of dollars in scholarship support that serves as a cornerstone of our commitment to accessibility and affordability. By alleviating financial burdens, these scholarships empower students from all backgrounds to pursue their dreams without the stress of insurmountable debt. We have seen firsthand how scholarship recipients excel academically, engage in campus life and ultimately graduate with an earned sense of pride and accomplishment. Many would have been unable to enjoy the Franklin College experience without your help.
Your support has also enabled us to endow department chairs, attracting and retaining distinguished faculty scholars who inspire, support and mentor our students. These academic leaders bring a wealth of knowledge and a passion for teaching that is uniquely personal and impactful.
